Back in VT and life is 24x better!
I cleaned up the shop a bit and decided to layout some of the goods for a picture... excuse the cell phone pics

And am in the middle of a small detail sort of project wherein I am attaching some A6 gauge cluster bezels that add a touch I feel to the 200's boring cluster. Here are a couple in progress shots:
Removing the mounting tabs (made to lock into the A6 cluster, 200 cluster does not have provisions for these)

Glued in place

That's all for now, stay tuned....

I did the same with those rings, with the S4 white gauge faces, looks really sweet..I cut the notches into the back of the 200 cluster so that they lock in..Gluing them in definitely would have been way easier!
What are you doing to the block?

Either way its a pain.. It took far too much time to cut all of the tabs off the rings, but the result is definitely worth it

Haha thanks man! I do miss the V8 but it's parked a car over from the 200 so I get to see it on a daily basis

Just a quick update before getting back to wedding stuff - getting married this Saturday 8)
scraped, wire brushed, honed, degreased, power washed, soap n' water, power washed, dried, oiled cylinders/mains lightly, masked off the block, primed and top coated. The color was a ppg in a can I had left over... not a preferred color, but is darker than the pictures make it out to be and is a metal flake gray.

Thanks everyone!
That IC, like my exhaust mani, is an ebay POS... I'll use it for the time being, but there's enough test data out there to convince me I need a real core. That'll happen sometime much later though since I don't anticipate any track use; especially with my wheel/tire setup.

Picking these up super cheap on the way to my wedding (no im not spending money, I gave some parts to a friend and he's getting them for me)

We'll see what it takes to fit them and then recondition/redye them. They're sport seats from a 1991 Corvette.

Will do - went looking for them a couple years ago on a recommendation from an audi/corvette owner friend who kept talking about the support and comfort of these seats and that they're featherweights compared to the audi seats.
I hope I can get them to fit at the right position in the audi..

you made the v8 bumper work... i think you can manage the seats

. just make sure that if they are fixed-mounted, that they are anchored properly, or properly adapted to stock mounts. so at least if you get in a crash, the seat will hold you in the car as intended.

That's my main concern. I'm hoping to securely mount (weld) the vette seat base to the audi seat frame and wire up the controls to maintain the forward/back movement. I'll document it well!
