HPR engine and trans mounts in! Quite refreshing too! I've never done a rear diff mount. Anyone have any BTDT's? I'm not sure what to expect, let alone if there's anything that needs removed to access it. Thanks

Still chooch'n right along. My mind is still blown by how little blowby and juices are being left in the catch can. I beat the snot out of the car today. lots of boost and many times hah. No oil in the CC :D

Hey Mage how are ya? Any progress?

I got to thinking today.. my car spends alot of time with the nose up in the air lol. At full tilt, it screams along with. The nose pointed skyward and I started noticing the passenger front tire was wearing on the outside edge. Of course the damage occurred before I fixed the worn roll bar bush. I did a rotation to put the worn one in back on the same side.

Fast forward a few days and the font one now in that spot MAY be wearing the same way. When I picture a trophy truck with the suspension fully stretched I see the same outer edge making the most contact with the ground in my mind's eye.

Do you guys think my driving around with all that whp on stock suspension could cause that edge to wear prematurely with the nose so high up?

I'm an HPR believer :D
Feel is dramatically improved now that the diff mount is in, working in concert with engine/trans mounts. More predictable and, although I'm not complaining lol, the car spins through 2nd with the rear wheels if I'm just rolling along and mash it. It's fun getting squirrelly in turns and having the control there :) much more fun now!

So I have Febi tie rods coming in from FCP with their lifetime warranty! Under $40 per side ffs! Great deal of say.

My favorite shop went to change the outer CV boot of my axle but it ended up having a broken CV :(

A long battle with binding front brakes above 65 F and a skeptical replacement of the MC has resulted in a heartfelt victory! I noticed the weep hole on the flange where the MC mounts to the power assist section was rusted and blocked.. hmm I wander if the problem could be related?

New development as of the thawing. Hard pull in 1st and an attempt to skip 2nd straight to 3rd gear results in grinding and having to take 2nd instead :idunno:

No grinding other times. Only barely notice a chatter/grind/hiccup/nothing-of-note when idling and taking reverse. I'm not worried lol

Bahaha! The pressure was too great and shot the sound-making pellet out twice until I lost it. Of course I have another one now :)
Will do hehe

The Cleveland Easter murderer was chased past me at work by police while I was taking. They put maneuvered his ass and he shot himself down the street from us..

On a side note, I think I may have mistakenly been trying to grab 5th gear before lol. I need to check the mechanisms over as it seems strangely spacious in the 3rd gear area so I think a bushing (somehow again) for the 3rd time in a year :bangshead:

I was mercilessly logging and flogging over the weekend and I found that there is ZERO oil in the catch can no matter how hard the beatings, as long as the dipstick reads 2/3 up from the 1-quart low line. I had been adding to full all this time and cringing everytime I'd empty the can. I guess the dual oil pan gaskets and the windage tray could've changed the full mark to a lower position :idunno:

That's interesting lol. Definitely logical though, I'll keep it in mind whenever I finally start driving mine around.

Hey Marc, just a quick question. Is it safe to use this spot I'm pointing to in the main ground of the LC circuit to actuate a regular relay that will interrupt another separate circuit when in use?
