What does everyone drink?
Being a fan of a cold beverage from time to time I thought it would be nice for everyone to share their drink of choice.
I am a large fan of Guinness.

Anything craft. I'm always down for a good IPA, but like everything except for barleywines and a few belgians.
I try and get something new every time I buy beer, but it's getting harder. Since I started drinking in college I've saved the bottle of every new beer I try. This is just a small portion of my collection (taken 3-4 yrs ago; most are packed in boxes), I'd guess I'm approaching 1,000 bottles now. Still waiting until I buy a house to build a bar/man-cave to display the collection in. I've also been trying to buy a pint glass from every brewery I've visited, I've probably got close to 50.

Favorite breweries:
Stone, Rogue, Bells, Hale's Ales, Elysian, Three Floyd's, and many more.

I hope to someday have a beer cave with my collection as well.
I'm a big fan of Rogue.
Any IPA you recommend? I'm very much into the stouts and porters but want to start expanding my horizons.

i like Widmer myself. get it straight from the source, too. a perk of the Great PNW. lots of local famous breweries.
not a dark beer fan though. took me a long time to accept Hef.
like the Shocktops, and Blue Moon stuff as well.
but if i drink beer, its most likely Widmer Hef.

I got a peach sour at Carlisle one year that I just can't get over, and I can't seem to find any sours at any stores around me. :-/ Generally I just end up with Yeungling.

I'm one of the crazy craft guys... I'd say in several hundred different beers in. I probably average 3-5 a week and rarely drink the same thing twice. I will expand more later.
Favorite breweries: Southern Tier, Schmaltz, Avery, Three Floyds, Hoppin' Frog, Westvleteren (one of the best in the world in my experience), Clown Shoes, and more. I'll add to this later as well. These are all companies I will buy any beer from and am almost always blown away.
One brewery which has really popped up on my radar lately is Terrapin. I wasn't too impressed with them the first couple beers I tried a few years back, but lately I haven't had anything from them I didn't like! Their big beers are just incredible.

Total craft guy. I like craft beers, but I really am a Cider-phile. Any type of Cider I love to try and drink. If I see a new kind I haven't seen or tried before I'll usually buy it right then and there. I love light craft beers, and I love stuff with berries or lemon or any kind of fruit in it. Not a fan of Dark beers or IPA's tho.

Phillip's Brewing out of Victoria is awesome, and so is the Muskoka Brewery from Ontario. Not sure if you'uns south of the border can get them but grab some if you see any.

Muskoka is my local brew! Too expensive most of the time though, lol. If I'm gonna spend money I go all out to Unibrou, my fav is La Fin du Monde at 9%.
I can bring some Muskoka to Carlisle if anyone wants any...

Whistler Brewing of Whistler BC have a lot of awesome beers too, best honey brown I've ever had, and a delicious grapefruit ale.
Alley Kat Brewing of Edmonton is also excellent, both their Full Moon Pale Ale and Charley Flint's Lager are tasty. The lady in your life might appreciate their Aprikat Ale, which is like a cider-ale.

Any IPA does the trick for me, I also oddly strive to try as many different variations as possible. At the world beer festival here a month ago I was able to sample over 42 different 8oz IPA samples - It was wonderful.
My favorite summer drinking in excess beers are: New Castle Brown, Red Stripe, and Polar (Veneuzelan import beer) yum. Fun fact: my work has Guinness on tap at all times starting at 4:30 every day notbad.gif

Also double post because fuck the edit! If anyone is EVER looking for the best beer in the world to share with your lady. Seek out a case of WACHUSETT Blueberry, yeah yeah it's a fruit beer but it really isn't. It tastes like the best golden beer ever made with fresh blue berries in just the right amount, it is just impossible to get around here.

Seems everybody here is a manly man and likes IPA's and dark stuff.
I like fruity beer and cider and I don't care. Come at me.

I like the occasional sours and ciders. Love fruity beer in the summer. The craft cider industry has been taking off here recently so I've been getting into those more. A lot of the sweet stuff gives me bad heartburn like wine though, otherwise I'd drink more of it. Nothing to be ashamed of!

So, I see FFF (3 Floyds) mentioned on here. I'll be driving by FFF on the way to Carlisle this week. Anyone want me to grab anything?
Garrett, did I give you the sour beer at Carlisle? I don't remember bringing a peach sour, but I certainly could have. I'll have a sour arsenal there again this year, and I saw the other day that Bell's is putting Two Hearted Ale in cans. I think I know what I'll have a lot of this year (going back to my roots, as Bell's Two Hearted is one of the beers that got me into the craft scene).
If anyone on here is on Untappd, I'm user NateEngel on there. I drink a lot of beer.

That picture is from 2010, and there's much more in the back room now.

I spy bourbon county. That is some good stuff.
Nate, if FFF has something dark and high Plato, I'd love to check it out.

I saw the magic word in the subject line.
I'll see you guys there, too. Marc, I might need/want/beg for some help on cold start/cold running tuning as well as overall driveability tuning on the UrQ. I'll provide beer and other compensation, if need be.
Chris, I may bring a Dark Lord or something, although not the abomination that was 2012 Dark Lord that I brought in 2012. That beer was an oversweet mess.

IPAs are my favorite too, the hoppier the better usually but this time of year I'll drink the shit out of some leinenkugel summer shandy. Definitely my summer beer of choice.
Favorites of all time are long trail's standard ale and dog fish head's 90min. Close runners up are the alchemist's heady topper and flying dog's raging bitch.
