G28 sensor

How often do these sensors die? I have a no start issue on my urs4 I need to fix ASAP. Car started for about 5 seconds then died and would not fire up again, that was yesterday. I'm gonna clean the connections and the sensor as well.
Does this sound like a g28 problem?
I have ruled out the batt as it's fully charged, I will be checking my plugs if the sensor checks outs and I smell fuel during cranking so I have a feeling the pump is working but I will test the pump if g28 and plugs have spark.
Anyone have this issue before?
