PNW Battle Born Caravan 2013
Posted: Mon Sep 09, 2013 11:22 pm
With Battle Born approaching so quickly, I figured it was high time I post about the Pacific Northwest caravan I am planning out (I can't wait BTW!). So the plan is Wednesday, October 9th at 6ish pm everyone will meet up at Integrity Automotive in La Grande, Oregon. That evening I will have a few bays with hoists opened in the shop for everyone to use in order to facilitate any on the road repairs or inspections needed. Along with that, we will be serving BBQ burgers and brauts. After we finish up for the night (whatever time that ends up being) we will go to our respective places to crash for the night.
Side note: If anyone can't afford to reserve or rent a hotel room, I might be able to come up with a couple different places for people to sack out at for the night. Just be prepared for couches or floors. PM me for details
Thursday morning at 5:45am we will meet up at the McDonald's by the freeway where we can get gas/coffee/food and set off from there. The route I have planned will take us a solid 13 to 14 hours to drive of which does include two hours total for stops. We will taking Interstate 82 which will take us through Baker, Boise and Twin falls. At Twin Falls we will jump off of the freeway and head down HWY 93 which will take us through Jackpot, Ely and ultimately to our destination in Las Vegas: The Aliante where we will rendezvous with the rest of the Battle Born crew.
Here is the address of where we will be meeting at Wednesday night:
10301 East First Street
La Grande, Oregon 97850

If anyone has any additions, subtractions or suggestions about the cruise, please make them!
