Ill get into it more later, but my subframe is suspension only, with the engine/trans etc on the chassis. I can also drop the subframe and work on the engine/ trans from below w/o any additional support devices for them, when the cars on a lift or jackstands.

if I wasn't making relocated c-arms for my car, I would have made up several sets of subfram bushings in alu with offset through holes in different spots to make it adjustable/castor mod. but with adj. strut tops and relocated c-arms I don't need to.

making trans mounts to the subframe is easier. period. and probably better if you want some mount "cushion" even if its just a bit. my trans is sitting on a 1/2" delrin plate with recessed xtra large diameter washers where the trans would sit on it. it is extremely solid. extremely.

if its a straight only car then id prob just make mounts to the subframe.

oh and exhaust clearance is much better with a trans bar

but to SF connections are good as there are mounts available that have some cushion

It will be a straight line car. But, cushion isn't a concern. The trans to subframe mounts as of now are just solid steel. And I intended to just use those, unless I were to make a trans bar instead.

run it, just make an exhaust/dp relief if you need to and you'll be good to go
