I'm trying to limit the number of silicone couplers now that I'm running higher boost but I don't have the ability to weld aluminum (no tig and not gonna bother trying it on the mig)

I can weld stainless but am having a heck of a time finding anything other than aluminum. Anybody have a lead on a source for some kind of steel based piping?

i have used SS and also CS piping before. muffler pipe/tube. aluminized even.

thin wall for weight savings.

any exhaust shop.

Yes, thin wall SS is great for intercooler piping. Used it on my 78 turbo rabbit.

I have limited fabrication capabilities, so all of my stuff and everyone else I know at my level uses aluminized steel. Works great, and very easy to work with.

I've seen steel used before somewhere on MG or something. I'm in the process of making my own as a temporary solution until some aluminum falls into my lap
