What Kind fuel settings in Vems need to change to run E85. I figure their is some way for vems to know your running e85. Unless VE compensates entirley for the fuel change. Could it be the Req. Fuel setting or the injector ms setting? Any E85 pros out there please chime in.

I don't think anyone really has a standard (well the OEMs); req fuel is where I would start. I started with a 30% increase but I think that is a bit much.

If you have a ethanol sensor you can set up an anytrim table to automatically compensate.

I went to the pump with a laptop on hand and just tuned for 1.0 lambda. Made sure the tank was super empty before filling and tweaked idle settings for a good while. Slowly drove and tweaked some more. Live VE analyzer was super helpful.
I never got to mess with timing seeing as I had nobody to drive the car while I tweaked it. But it was pretty fun to mess with. I needed to spend some time with the cold start settings really bad but never had time when I actually had it in the tank.

you added 30% to the Base Setup-Engine setup-Req Fuel setting? Or 30% to VE? You would want to do both right? Just to get in the ballpark...

Just Req Fuel under Engine Setup. if you increased both by 30% (1.3*1.3) you'd have a net increase of 69%.

Right. WHat lambda targets are you running?
