NLA: Free 07K engine

** UPDATE 4/19/2019
The engine is gone, as are the flywheel, exhaust flange, and fuel rail.
I think I'm going to keep the coils as spares. The alternator is still available for $100 and I'm willing to ship it at buyer's expense.
Oh and the car it was going to be put into is also still for sale: http://www.theprojectpad.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3054

Sadly I think it's time to accept the fact my 07K project isn't going to happen, and get this lump of cast iron out of the garage!
This is a lowish-mileage (about 40K IIRC) engine I got from someone on MG a few years ago. It's missing a few things... particularly the drive components for the camshafts (both timing chains, idler gear, guides, etc.), and the vacuum pump (usually replaced by a cover anyway). The head's sitting on the block - most of the bolts are missing as is the gasket but I'm 90% sure I bought a head gasket set that will come with the engine. Most valve cover bolts are missing, as are accessories like alternator, P/S pump, and so on.
I'll try to get more details like the engine code over the next few days. I do think it's a later engine that's unlikely to have a forged crankshaft. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
Free pickup in Wilmington, MA only... I can't ship it.
Oh and I do have a few conversion parts I can add for a reasonable price. Flywheel, steel exhaust flange, fuel rail... I think that's it.
Edit: I realized actual numbers are probably more helpful than "reasonable" for the pricing for the extras: $200 for the flywheel*, and $25 each for the exhaust flange (as I said above it's 3/8" regular steel, not stainless) and fuel rail. The fuel rail comes all by itself... I don't have the mounting brackets or fittings.
* Flywheel is brand-new, just test-fitted to the engine, never even bolted on! It does have a little light surface rust from being stored (indoors) for a few years.
Another edit: whoever takes the engine gets first dibs on the "extra-cost options". If whoever takes the engine doesn't want that stuff, I'll ship it at buyer's expense.
