Fuel injector selection 20vt

I'm looking to upgrade my injectors when I do the turbo upgrade.
The current setup is MC1 with MC2 cam, MS3X fully sequential, 440cc extended tip injectors, 044 fuel pump, 3" turbo back exhaust, 1 piece exhaust manifold and K24 turbo.
The new setup will have a tubular stock placement manifold and ITS 58mm turbo with #8 replica housing.
I'm currently pushing the limits of the 440cc injectors now with the K24 spiking to 22psi and holding 20psi to redline. With the new turbo being significantly larger, I'm figuring I should upgrade the injectors at the same time. I have seen that the Evo X injectors are 650cc injectors, and can be had pretty cheap. I don't have easy access to e85, so I don't think I'll be doing flex fuel in the near future. A anybody have any other suggestions on this?

How's the spray pattern on those Evo injectors? I'm unsure of their head/port design so that's the first thing that comes to mind.
Actually, how important is spray pattern to accurate fueling? I mean... I'd think fairly important?
That was basically the idea behind why I sourced Genesis GII injectors for my build... they were designed around our cylinder head architecture and atomize really well. I did a bunch of other research at the time, but this page does a fine job of presenting the case.

I'm really not sure about the spray pattern. The Volvo injectors are a 2 hole extended tip EV1 based injector, where as I believe the Evo X injectors are extended tip EV14 based with I think 4 holes. It can be hard to find pics of the actual injector tip. I figure with the 20vt originally being CIS, as long at the atomization is as good or better than the CIS injector, it should be ok with having the extended tip.

I was a little off on the home count... Look like the attached pic.

Wait! What?
A one-off or production item?

Mine will be a sort of prototype. But he plans to make more for those interested. Attached is a pic of it unfinished. It's missing the balance tube from the collector to the WG tube.

I wouldn't think too hard about it. The whiteblock Volvos have the injector in roughly the same place as Audis do.
Interestingly, every turbo whiteblock Volvo that I have ever had the intake manifold off of had spotlessly clean ports and valves, even if there was a bunch of oil in the intercooler plumbing. Clearly the fuel is washing any carbon away before it has a chance to settle. I'm actually kind of curious if this is an artifact of injector pattern or injection timing.
