Hey guys,
Decided I would post a new thread about my new Audi. I have been on MG for quite some time now, more recently then in the past and I found TPP a while back while trying to find more info on my car and URS cars in general, although I didn't join until yesterday.
I picked up a 1994 S4- Emerald Green a couple weeks ago. The car is far from perfect but I love it already. For those of you who don't know, JCarrick is my brother-in-law. As you are all aware he used to have a 1993 URS4. There was a few times I would hang out with my sister and he would be working on said car, in the garage getting it squared away. He sold the car in late 2011 and I had only seen the car complete, in person a few times and never got to ride in the car. However from that point on I wanted a URS4! Although we haven't talked in quite sometime, credit is due for me wanting a URS car. Now five/six years later I finally found one within Central Oregon. The seller wanted over $6,000 for the car but I wanted the car and was able to talk him down.
As far as I know the car is bone stock.
210,xxx miles on the ticker. The out side is around a 6.5/10 due to the front grille area being chipped up bad and the rear passenger door re-painted badly with poor quality paint/clear. Other then that the exterior isn't to bad. The interior is a 7/10. Driver seat has small rip and the regular wear and tear. Factory carpet floor mats with Audi logo, stock stereo and speakers. Different ship knob with Audi logo. The steering wheel is beat up pretty bad so the PO had wrapped some sort of baseball bat type tape around the steering wheel.
The first step is to get this thing running back to normal before I do anything power wise.
Last week it was pretty slow at work so I had one of the techs help me with my tune up on the car. Oil and filter Change, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs and some new wiper blades! Car was in good shape with pretty much no rust if any underneath. Some suspension work needs to be done soon, but other than that very happy with the car.
