Rocognize this noise??

Folks, I'm chasing a noise on my build that I was wondering if anyone recognizes...
It starts a minute or 2 after startup, and then is continuous, and *loud* at times. It's proved really hard to locate since it seems to emanate from everywhere, but I decided it seems to be from the crank pulley area.

Two vids - first shows you general area, and also notice that I have eliminated the accessory serp belt, so its not the alt or PS pump.

Second captured the sound better:

I've pulled the pulley, and found nothing....

Oil pump?
pump bypass valve humming?
timing belt whining?
WTF?

Sounds like vacuum leak to me.

Hmmm, that's a possibility that hadn't crossed my mind...
thanks!

Well,
put the TB back together and did some more digging - finally found the source - clearly coming from the bell housing, but not affected at all by pushing the clutch.
What does that leave? pilot bearing (new)?
As I mentioned, it takes 1-2 minutes warm up time to start whirring.

Bummer! guess I need to pull the trans...

Ah sucks, odd since it doesn't change pitch with rpm, never had one of those bearings fail or make that noise so can't comment on that. I've heard bearing crunching noises or metal on metal rubbing coming from the thrust bearing being too far gone on some other's cars but never a whistle/whine.

Here is a new vid where the sound is clear, and my evidence for the location is as well...

I'm stumped what could be making this noise - the pilot bearing was new, and well greased, and the clutch has no affect on the sound.

Could the rear crank seal be leaking vacuum, or pressure?
Thoughts?

Nat

Did you remove the oil filler cap ? Should take care of vacuum suspicion.
