32V V8 Flywheel need help identifying

Post by lorge1989 »

edit please see most recent post

Anybody with first hand expierience with this? I am currently in the market for a flywheel and would rather not deal with the 034 insert. I got a quote back from TTV and the price is right.

I will get the 10 bolt to work with my ABZ and I will be running a 01A for now, which should be fine. More or less worried about the VR sensor position.

Thanks!

What price did they give you? I requested a quote a little while ago and never heard back.

I couldn't get one from ttv because they were not in stock. Instead I took a chance and bought one on eBay. Now I can figure out what it is. 136 teeth, bolts to my ABZ but won't sit flush because of boss on crank.

Maybe oem abh? Can I just machine out the center so it sits flush?

It's definitely not ABZ since there is no 60-2 ring.

Looks like an OEM PT or ABH but it has the small pilot bearing.

Is there a part number?

Here's an OEM 32v V8 flywheel - note the larger pilot bearing:

My Fidanza flywheel had a large opening there...

Looks like an ABH after some more searching. The reason it won't fit is because I need to remove that nub thing on the back of the motor that the auto trans used..... I think it should work fine.

Now I need to figure out a clutch/pp I can use.
