URQ 17 Rim fitment recommendations

Post by carl »

Looking for a lil advice/recommendations, i'm thinking of replacing my old 15's and go to 17", one has a hammered lip, they are little too tucked in and size is getting hard to get good performance tires. Current tires keep flat spotting unless i keep the car jacked :bangshead: .

I'm wondering what offsets and rubber would work in a stock suspension URQ? Should i go 8" or 7.5"? Rears are not rolled.

I've got a set of ATS superlights in a 7.5in width. There's LOTS of room left over. Those are as far in as i could go at a 40 offset. They leave another 1.5-2in outward for wheel and tire

Cool, thanks  , so i guess i should be fine with et30-35 8"'s.
ssr's are pretty neat http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/tf1r.asp gives it a nice ronal r8 look, too pricey though.
