I still love Motorgeek, but..
I see a lot of familiar names here. Pilihp2 said his Type 44 20vt is on here so I figured I better check it out. Looks like I missed the notice on the migration. Did this happen when Motorgeek Administration got sold or was everyone hanging out here long before that? Who runs this site?

Looking forward to browsing around and seeing what I"m missing over here.

Oh, Intro for those that don't know me.
I"m a Long Time Audi Quattro enthusiast. Did my first engine transplant in 2001. Put an MC 20v Turbo into my 4000 Quattro. Been wrenching every since.
Currently Own:
* 2003 Audi S8. (Tranny is out pending Rebuild)
* 2000 Audi A4 Avant 2.8 Manual (Wifes Daily Driver). S4 Suspension, A8 Brakes.
* 1995 S6. H&R w/Eibachs.
* 1983 Ur-Quattro's x 2. Both are projects. Both are stalled out and waiting on funds to finish.

Yep, we are all here. I have been kind of keeping up my thread. Facebook and Instagram have taken a lot of traffic away, but I still think here is the best way to document a build.

you can cuss, sell things, make things, build things, present GB's, etc. i think you can even show bewbies too, but whatever.

2-Years huh. Well, it was 2012 that I moved to New York for 2-years and had to put all my projects on hold while I lived in a small apartment with my wife while she went through Nurse Practitioner school. (I did pick up a TT to drive as a daily and an S8 that I"m working on now though). Now that I"m back, I'm slowly trying to learn to balance having a 1yr old kid and working on cars. The two don't always go hand in hand. ;-)
Either way, having fun catching up on projects. ;-)
