Early UrQ control arm delrin bushings?

Post by 90quattrocoupe »

Believe it or not, the early UrQ and the VW Fox, use the same control arm bushings. They look like this:

Is there a source for delrin bushings for these early arms?

To answer my own question and to provide an answer to the forum, the delrin bushings for stamped arms will fit an early UrQ control arms. So in essence they should also fit a Fox.
impretzle from Motorgeek, used 034 small bushings in his stock arms, on his 81 UrQ.

I was asking this question, because I have been debating, whether to use the stock Fox control arms or modified 4000/B3 control arms. I will be using the two piece strut system from a B3. I will use the stock Fox arm, but will weld the top gusset on the arm to match the UrQ Control arm.
