Derracuda's 83' YOU ARE QUATTRO!!!!

Post by derracuda »

hey guys!!!! you all are gonna hate me, a few already do cause i told them earlier what i'm got. a 1983 URQ, gobi beige metallic (thanks richard for clarification ;) ), 206k on it, new brakes, SS braided lines, rebuilt engine, everything in the car, nothing seems to be missing. i also got a spare head with solid lifters, starter, exhaust manifold, and 4 15x7.5BBS wheels :D

i haven't decided 100% which direction this thing will take, but likely 20vt. it's gonna need a full paint job first though. so i might be tearing into this thing soon for that :)

and now for pics!

we got a peeker....

Nice buy Derek. Check out smokin10v-urq on Audiworld. His picture poster shows his paint job and stuff he's been doing to his urq. TT interior, custom paint job. etc.

i'm gonna work on getting it running tonight and throw the BBS's on and take some more pics of the engine bay and trunk and what not for ya'll :)

rust????? :D i can't find any so far, but it'll be getting a full steam clean in the near future and that will reveal a lot of stuff (hopefully not though). there's no cancer around the windows anywhere, the floor is solid everwhere underneath, the wheel wells are clean, , there's no rust in the bottoms of the doors or trunk or anywhere under the hood, so i think it's looking pretty solid. perfect candidate for a project car :)

Nice find. Is that the ABT gauge extension?

I will own a Urq someday.

The combination of the 3mph bumpers, those headlights and that color leaves quite an impression on us poor Europeans ;)

But damn what a catch!

Nice find man,

trust me it's all about the rust on those cars. looks really good, I like the rare gauge extension. It's getting harder and harder to find cars unmolested like that in North America. The prices in Europe are starting to climb for urq's.

Cheers,

Craig Cook.
