im just curious to see how many guys here have swapped cars, whats done to them and what they tear down the quarter mile.

i got one pass out of my car last year and ran a whooping 13.6 spinning all 4 tires first and second gear.

here's a break down of my pass.

the car is an 84 4000 so its lighter than the 85 to 87 cars. the mods listed are at the time of the pass.

-ebay T3T04E turbo with .63 AR turbine housing/wheel and .50 AR compressor side
-1.9 BAR wastegate spring

-forge motorsport splitter diverter valve
-full 3in turbo back exhaust with vibrant performance stealth muffler
-AC delete
-modified stock motronic with 034 varimap set at 3BAR with custom chips
-NG single mass flywheel
-clutchnet 6 puck solid hub clutch
-RS2 pressure plate
-custom engine, tranny and rear end mounts made from HDPE plastic
-tommis billet crank gear

suspension/wheels/tires/brakes
-H&R springs
-Bilsten sport shocks
-FWD coupe GT front sway bar modified to fit rear subframe

-stock 4000 quattro wheels
-bridgestone blizzak winter tires
-cross drilled and slotted front rotors

Thats all i can remember off the top of my head. i think it should be faster than what it is looking at the single pass i got last year.

the only revisions for this year are....
-VEMS V3.8 ECU
-2.2 BAR wastegate spring
-unknown 15in wheels that are pretty light
-nitto NT01 tires on all 4 corners

lets see what you guys have and what sort of passes your making, im curious as to if my car has more in it than it lets on.

If you're spinning the tires I'd say some good tires should make a solid difference. Not sure how wide you can go on that chassis...

If you shave .6-.7 off you 60ft, you'll see better results.... I was running 13.3-13.4 on Rubi when she had your same turbo.

I have nitto NT01's that are 205-50-15 this time around, the tires when i ran a year ago where 185-60-14 bridgestone blizzak's lol. great for traction in the snow, useless at the track hahaha!

thats what im hoping for with this other tire setup. i'd like to see high to mid 12's atleast. im already limited by hos much boost i can run at the moment because of my injectors. i have RS2 replica injectors in there at the moment but there's an 044 fuel pump feeding them with the stock 4 bar FPR. according to VEMS at 20 to 21 psi with an AFR of roughly 11.8 im at 87% duty cycle and i dont really want to push on them any harder. my next big investment for its like a set of 1200cc RC engineering injectors than stepping up to something like an ebay GT3582. i hope to dip into the low 11's/high 10's on the GT35.

looks like a solid run! i wish i had video footage of my friends URS4 that used to run 11.2's consistantly. that picture i posted a while back of FB of the red URS that looked like it was going to do a backflip is my friends james's old car.

how much you want for those injectors?

yeah,... that's the red car from yesteryear... guess what color my car is... I hope to be as fast... talk about good ole fashion power huh...

I think your engine is showing plenty of power, it's just not getting to the ground. Definitely need more of a tire, and probably more practice if you've only done one pass.

Taco ran 13.63 @ 98.7 in his 20vt 4kq (I think with a K24 or K26, not with the volvo turbo he later ran). With your trap speed, you could definitely gain a lot with some traction.
My stock UrS4 ran 14.68 @ 95 (2.05 60'), so you can definitely see the weight advantage of the small chassis for a pretty close trap speed.

derracuda with a stock K24, chipped ECU 20v

only one pass at the track but plenty of street racing in the car. its actually still undefeated on the street at the moment , no one ever see's quattro coming all they do is see it going. i'll be happy with a high to mid 12 second pass. i've been playing with a few of the online calculators and they estimate low to mid 12's in a perfect world.
