The Project Pad

I picked this up from vagratmugen on MG for the exhaust housing. Well, as luck would have it, the housing I had purchased on the Porsche forum showed up not too long after this turbo did.

Anyways, this is the water cooled version of this turbo. It seems to be in good shape with some play in the shaft. This is the turbo that you Volvo K24 guys want the housing from. The housing has 2 broken downpipe studs, but I should have them out in the next couple days(work allowing).

I'm just trying to get my money back for this, so asking $125 shipped

I ended up having to helicoil the threads on the one exhaust housing, so I will be keeping that one, and putting the one that came with this turbo back on it. It is ready to do, all studs are good

I may want this , OK to slap it on and go or really should rebuild it ?

I was told it is good to go. It does have some radial shaft play, but didn't feel much thrust play.
