New to this automotive web page but not new to posting on several others back in the day. Such as Quattroworld, & Motorgeek along with the FB groups associated with my passions for VAG products.

What's in a name...'Episima' (Izzy for short) Her name was thought about just weeks prior to her purchase just months ago. Greek mythology describes her as the lil forest nymph who is famed for where 'wishing on eye lashes' is derived from! Thanks in part to My Guy asking me to wish on one... I know, cute...lets get on with it!!

I believe we met at Carlisle this past summer...I wasn't in an Audi at the time. Although this isn't my first Audi rodeo! Been around them & working on them for over 17+ years now. Formers include 3- 91' Audi 200 20vtq's. 1 sedan & 2 avants (last named Silvey), & 02' B6 A4 MT Avant (Maddie)

Parting her out by chance?! (and yeah, I know these parts won't fit on Izzy!)

Haven't decided if I want to keep the AAN/01E or just sell it to a friend and wash my hands of it entirely.

Probably depend on what I buy.

I think 'tune' should get moved up on the list to be perfectly honest.

Haha T44 owners know about this one. I used to describe it as driving with two candles for headlights, or maybe flashlights at best.

Love the look of your old avants. Those wheels suit them nicely, and I especially love the black one!

Thanks Chris! Yah, yah DOT stockers were not so good! And yea, that stock 3b @ 217 wasn't so shabby back in the day! My last girl 'Silvey' was mildly chipped with an MTM Stg 2 set up bringing her up to 285. She also had the beta test fitment done for her Gen 4 SS TB Stromung exhaust! Such an awesome sound on the 20vtqa! Loved it!

Crazy thing is tho, not until these last couple of years did I really find out how these really could be modified motor wise...oh gosh!

Well, I wasn't gonna go this route just yet cuz she was running superbly...but midway thru the day I was making a quick stop at home and turned onto my street and since the pavement was dry decided to 'step on it' a lil...oh bam, HUGE stumble and all out started to just barely crawl along. CEL starts flashing as I make it into my covered parking spot. Threw it in neutral w/PB on and she ran fine. Accelerator push and she rumbled.

Time for new coils! Unfortunately I didn't already have a set on hand waiting for this moment, so I headed to my local Audi dealership @ $28.50 each. More than I wanted to spend on each but I needed them NOW! Or at least one I needed to fix the issue, but since I wanted to upgrade them to Red Tops anyways I replaced them all at once and sucked it up!

I still need to pull the codes to see which one it was that created the misfire and was failing, so I labeled the old coils as I pulled them off for reference to discard the bad one after the codes are read.

Took her out right away cuz I had to get back to work and she ran very smoooooth! Happy Mujer here!

My extra bonus- prior to paying for the coils I snapped a photo of the Truth in 24 II poster (one shown) and sent it to my guy. He was like So after I paid I went back to the parts window and asked if they sold the posters. They did and were clearing them out for less than $10 each. I asked if I could get a free one since I just spent over $100 in parts. BOOM they gave me one in a tube! It was a gooD day!

Amazing how much of a difference it makes with new coils. Hope you bought 5!

Oh gosh yes! Runs like new now!

And yea, spares will be ordered b4 the weekend! And when they arrive they will be carried in the car.

I just couldn't resist! OEM Audi rear spoiler! Can't wait for paint in the near future! Fits right atop the stock 3rd brake light & factory spoiler.

Purchased from a high end luxury Euro dealership in Miami, FL.

you need an RS4 widebody conversion to go with that wing! (i mean, it makes perfect sense... painting that one, scuffing up the OE one to take the adhesive...in for a penny in for a pound!!!

Oh wow, everyone just loves wide bodies! Why? Why not just a chick driven MT avant, semi stock looking? Semi stock as in lowered, very nice 2 pc wheels soon, some window tint and other goodies you can't see unless she is on the lift, or the hood is open?!!

But wait. I guess I could put that on my long term goals list. But getting some new paint and some blemishes fixed now quite possibly could be wasting $$'s. Hmmmmm, I wonder if I have any takers to help get her wide bodied for me? I certainly could pay out in cookies....lots and lots of fresh baked cookies!

Whut?! Cookies for OLD news? Since when? I prolly knew of Roger long before you did, let alone have met him personally and all. Nice guy! But thx for the tip, I'm not ready for that stage yet.

And besides if you really wanna help...spread the word that the low miled B5.5 Passat wagon I also own is For Sale, since I was so kind in allowing you to use it for a spell while Rubi` was down. Now THAT would be helping me!

But anyways. the cookies still are delicious- and my favorite ones to make now are Peanut Butter Protein ones! So gooD!

Next on the docket a full EXTERIOR detail! Yeah! Been waiting for a 2 day stretch of 60 degrees at minimum!

Then: ST adj CO's, Eibach F&R sways with Perrin front spherical end links, tint & WHEELS!!!!!
