Lost timing reference????????

So I swapped factory cams back into my 200. It fired up and ran fine. I shut it off and put the front bumper on for a test drive. As I was cranking it over I heard what sounded like a "crunch" noise followed by a loud "thud". The thud noise is audible at the end of the cranking period. I thought maybe starter drive malfunctioned. I proceeded to set it to TDC. All timing marks aligned correctly. I then turned the engine over by hand, no apparent issues. So I tried to start it again, it just turns over. I then checked for spark, none. I also do not smell fuel when cranking for a extended period of time. So I'm wondering if I lost the timing signal or reference...where do I start to look? Pull starter and check flywheel?

Check the distributor gear maybe?

Dizzy gear is plastic still lol but I checked and it's turning. Will multiple damaged teeth on flywheel cause no spark/no fuel...?

well, does one of the flywheel sensors read the flywheel teeth? If it does and they are damaged then I would think that would be the issue. Check codes?

Well yeah, I just didn't know if it made a difference if it was one or multiple teeth. The only code that flashes is:
4411 (Blink Fault Code), 01249 VAG1551/2 Fault Code Number
Fuel Injector for Cylinder 1, (N30)
Open or short circuit, +12V supply circuit breaker or fuse open
Symptom: Engine runs rough or stalls
