Feeler: Carb'd 1987 Volkswagen Fox - 72,000 Original miles - 1900$ obo
The car has been my daily car for about 3 years. I picked it up from the original owner a 92 year old woman who had just traded it in for a Jetta. The exterior was beat, it wouldn't hold a charge, all suspension was useless, it needed a lot of work - However the engine interior and mileage were amazing and I loved the look of the car.
Here is how it was:

I invested a good amount of time and parts into this car to bring it back to what it it is now. I learned a lot from working on this car, it is a very basic simple machine.
Here is what it became:

Over time I grew tired of the CIS and converted it to a Weber 32/36
Then this:

This is a car for someone who wants a good mileage running driving car that has time to tinker and restore it to it's glory. I now have an audi 200 and I need to feed it parts.
Info:
Runs, steers, stops, very well.
Weber carburetor conversion
200mm mk3 Rear drums
New rotors/pads
New tie rod
New axle
Transmission was removed serviced
You can ask me any question you ever want about this car, I have researched everything and will help you finding the answer
new balljoints
Fox 1 body style
Bolstered bucket seats
H&R suspension from a mk2
The interior is amazingly clean
What it needs:
It is cosmetically rough outside- Rockers have fiberglass, it was painted in a barn, sidemolding etc it still looks good if you are (very) briskly walking by.
The exhaust is hacked together but quiet
Put a radio in it
Lots of little things
Anyway, shoot me a message and I can show you the car I am in no rush to give it away to the wrong person.
