2013 winter block froze and shattered cyl 2.

build new motor even though i have one sitting in wait for the new car. just new machined block really, new bearings and rings. the bearings were actually in excellent shape for 3 years of abuse.

and after trying to fire it up with frozen injectors, nothing happened. apparently the fuel flush last winter wasnt enough, and they do NOT open at all. borrowed some injectors from a friend, and off we go!

all this for someone else to drive the car this weekend at the car show. one shot deal for the year. then away it goes for awhile, like until next year.

dyno breakin.

blah blah. lets hit it on the 38 psi map down from 47+ psi.

still makes 760ish awhp and almost 570 wtq. same as before when we ran this map.

now for running it on a stock gearbox on sunday.

B5 S4 01E. same one i ran my first 9.xxx run with in fact.

i wont run the PAR dogbox anymore, as i spent almost a grand getting the gears reprofiled and sliders, etc. so if i use it, i will therefore take away from my recent refresh. plus i cant drive it myself for a long time to come, so i have no interest in that. not that there is anything at all wrong with it, i love it. but i dont plan to run this car forever, see, i got something else for that need for speed.
