I've been collecting parts and planning for awhile now,
86 4kq
01 alh punched out to 2.0l
Upgraded rods
Arp mains, rod, head studs
Upgraded oil pump
Upgraded valve springs
Light port and polish
11 mm fuel pump
2260vk turbo
Modified 20vt intake mani
Euro tdi o1e 6speed
The lower end is at the machine shop getting bored, crank polished, rotating assembly balanced.
Since I'm waiting on the motor I'm starting body work addressing rust and modifying as I see fit ;)

There was rusty mig wire sticking thru the panel and a 1/4 of bondo on top, never sealed at all.

All 4 are cracked, 1-2 are the worse I'll be pulling the valves to see if I need a head.

I have two ALH heads. One with messed up valves and one with unknown valve damage (where the crank broke in my tdi swap). I'm sure you can find some closer but let me know. Pay shipping and they're yours.

Sucks about the head cracks, but I love those wheels! Nice looking car, and props on the bodywork. Looking forward to seeing how it looks all finished up :)

Pass quarter almost done, some detail sanding and final coat of plastic should finish it off. Next I'm going to tackle the rear pass door handle...

It arrived today, very nice piece, has oil in/out, crankcase breather as well as turbo feed and oil pressure ports and a one way valve to prevent turbo feed from draining back.

Sent from crazy town.
