It's a PTE5857CEA Billet Ceramic BB. :) It's the last turbo that was on the Vomit Comet.

And hopefully the last you'll ever need... (hopefully)....

The pic I posted of mine on your FaceBook is the same turbo... with .63 hotside... Nice CHOICE!!!

Mine is a .63 as well! :) I think it's going to be a really fun turbo!

Glad to see him in the proper hands and in a better home. I never let him in the house, or I should say my wife never let him in the house!

I dunno about a "better" home. :P I can't wait to see how the car does with this beast hanging off of the side of it.

VERY nice! Again... if I didn't already have a 30r. Prepare for 450whp! Hot damn, that's going to be awesome. I'm going to have some catching up to do in the tuning department once my car is together, lol.

I think it is going to be a BLAST! :D I can't wait! Heck, this thing is already a LOT of fun. Before this sucker goes in though I need valves and 7a cams.

I've been in Jim's car with that turbo. Your car can't be faster than mine at BBQ4 Ben! :guns:

So tonight I spent the evening remote tuning with Hank and things are turning out really really nicely. This thing is pretty awesome now... well... just watch the vids, even though they are short, you'll see. :D

Sorry they where so short, I will try and get better ones here soon! OH and again, Thank you Hank! Your the man!

Does remote tuning involve tethering and remote assistant? Just curious how that's accomplished. Looks awesome though man!

I just record logs and send them off, the tuner (Hank in this case) reviews what the engine is doing and makes adjustments to the config file based off of what he sees. If I was at an actual dyno, he could watch live data over my laptop and make changes that way too.

Ok got ya. So tuning based on logs. Makes more sense then. By remote tuning, I though live tuning as-in on-the-fly or real time.

Glad to see/hear that it's running better :)

Damn, now that is what I'm talkin' bout! That looks very fast. It distinctly sounds like wheel spin through second gear in those vids... told you 20+ would be awesome!

Those ratios actually seem fun in my opinion :) The speepo wraps quick. What's it max out at?

It's probably *faster* but I'm used to being able to just rip in 2nd, be at 105km/h and go into 6th for highway cruising. lol. I guess I'll have to settle for like 97kmh.

Oh, and looks hella tyte Ben. So when would you say you're getting full boost? Care to post up a screenshot of a log (roll in 3rd from 2500rpm say)?

and 4th gear if possible (I think most people quote spool in 4th as that is what gear most people also do dyno runs with).

Thanks guys! And ya, I can post up some screen shots and such! I will do that tonight. Talking to Hank, my spool is about 400rpms behind his billet ones. So anyways, Right now my limiting factor is my clutch, so no more boost than this until that gets changed.

That's weird... I was getting 15 psi by 3500 very consistently and 24 by 3800-4k at most and that was on a 12 cm housing. Anyway, the Precision should be a blast.

Before this turbo comes off I fully plan on taking it to it's limit. I also want to hit up a dyno with it, just to see where I'm at. I have to admit though, that the Precision is going to be a riot, and I can't wait until I am ready to throw it on! :)
