What a GREAT idea! On boost control, you aren't having spike issues are you? If slower boost onset is what i thiink i understand you saying, sounds like that could do the trick.....course so would a 01E!

YEaa Boy, check out my hood vents and the gold mirrors yo!

That should fvck with plenty of people at this weekends NASA HPDE. :D

Here's a little teaser of what's really happening.

Here's some picks of the new fuel lines and regulator setup. I ran -6 braided from the pumps, then to the filter, and used the stock return line. I _think_ this is NHRA legal, the rules state no distribution blocks or regulators within 6" of the firewall, but say nothing about bulkhead fittings.

Funny seeing hood vents like that... I bought 2 similar from Lowe's Motorsports last night, plan on cutting out the louvers and making an exit in the fenderwell for hot oil cooler air with them...

I jumped all over this 95.5 S6 01E 5 spd that popped up on Audifans a few days ago. Serial number cbd 90230 says it has the wide 1st gear. :D

I'll slowly be getting the rest of the parts I need to get this in. The good news is when red rocket has a transmission in the trunk, the yellow car gets full boost :woowoo: I see dyno's and drag strips in my future.

Right up there with D3R3k's $1,500 UrQ in the legendary buy category!

Yep, $300 :-D Can you imagine how many times I was hitting refresh on my inbox durring the day waiting for the reply back from the seller? Honestly, $300 is a good deal, but not great. I would have paid up to $500 for this, but not any more. I still need to get the ur-s linkage that hooks to the transmission and a clutch fork for it. Anyone have that stuff sitting around?

This transmission is going in the car as is. I might get a Stasis center diff for it, but that all depends on how expensive the clutch conversion turns out to be.

I'm running Motul Gear 300 in the 016 now so I'm curious to see if that makes any difference in how it handles the power. Just my luck it will never break. :wtf: :frustrated: :-D

Hey Jim, maybe if we get together we can break it by simply going through a stop light? Or we can pretend to go tune it and it will blow up on us or something.

I jumped all over that transmission too, then I realized where it was located :(
