Well we're almost there. If this saab sells then I can really get these moving faster. I've decided to use DOM tubing as the inside sleeving due to it's cost and the fact that it has enough strength for the job at hand. Actual spacers/sleeves are rediculous

I just received an email confirming the completion of the tooling. 2 "prototype" bushings are on their way to me for fitment and testing. Once I verify fitment, I am placing the big order for the rest of the bushings. Please stay tuned!

Ok test fitted today and the insert diameter is undersized by about .02". They are smaller than my specified dimensions so they screwed up. Emailed the manufacturer and awaiting reply. Aside from that and one other length, the bushing is perfect. Production should begin soon

Shouldn't you be using a steel sleeve to handle the clamping loads?

Any reason why these couldn't just be turned down on a lathe? What special tooling would be needed?

I assume you are molding these Jared?
A mold is much cheaper for production due to set up time and machining times.

Yes these are from a mold. It ensures consistent results, less production time, cheaper costs, and less final price. If I were to have these machined, you guys could expect to pay about $125-150 PER subframe. Nobody would do that
