Originally it wasn't, but I set it up, and it is the clutch for sure. Was hard to tell as there was wheel spin too in 3 & 4

Can I ask how you did the LED headlight install? was it a straight wire up? what did it require?
Trying to rid my roommates Urs4 of his HID's that keep blowing. LED sounds terrific.

Plug and play just order what style bulb the car uses factory and the kit comes with adapter harness.
I got a low and highbeam bulb. Much better then hid in my opinion.

That kind of movement is definitely scary and if you can see it that well on the camera, I know it must have been scary in real life! I have down powerslides that don't look like anything is happening on the camera lol.
On another note, the car sounds great and seems fast!

so how do you like the clutch?
wobbles? through the steering wheel? if so, could be lower control arm bushings, or similar.

I think its this plate I made to bolt on the steering rack/tie rods, to gain more room when I moved vr6 back is my issue.
I am not sure if I am going to use the stock piece here again with moly tube & heims like I did in the past,
Or make another plate like I have and bolt it on top of this one, bolting all of it together.
there are two threaded tubes for the heims to bolt to welded into plate. I think the movement is coming from the two bolts on the steering rack to plate.

I'd just cut another plate over top with a couple mis alignment bushings on the rod ends and do bolts through top and bottom plates in all four spots. Maybe add some standoffs in the center of the plates to keep them even more together.
As always looks awesome and brutal on the street

Don't know if it would fit with your setup, but I came across this the other day. I think it would take care of your steering issue.

I have seen that piece from James dorey. I am not a fan of how the bolts for heims face forward. and its way out of my price range at almost 500 shipped usd. this was a budget build..
hopefully I can solve my problem with a top plate. or ill be back to the drawing board.
how much does the steering stabilizer do? is it needed? I can mount it to this top plate I want to make but wasn't sure how much it really does

i will say that you are doing it wrong first off. you couldnt pass NHRA tech with it like that and your life and car are at risk. at the very least, you need a large washer under the nut on that heim end, to contain it if the thing ever failed (and they fail, yes they do).
skim thru my stuff, i have pix of what i did. but definitely put something over the studs, tie them together as well as cover/contain those ends.

Thank you for the advice. As always it's greatly appreciated.
While I had the engine out I finally cut a slim bracket for the Bosch Motorsport 2x3 coilpack. Makes a little more room back there too.

Also I was out of fuel at 32 psi so I made new brackets to mount 48mm 2225cc Bosch ev14s. Especially now I have a clutch to hold it. Should get fun

And pic of old clutch.

So getting fucked by 034 it seems. I have their flywheel for vr6 quattro and it was sent to clutch masters so they can machine it to accept their 850 clutch kit which is done.
However I had one broken ring gear tooth. Now after shipping it seems I have 2 broken teeth. So I asked 034 how much for a new ring gear? I remember reading the early fw had a different ring gear then the ones they sell now because of this issue ( also changed starter bracket).
034 tells me I have to send to them to put it on a cnc for new ring gear and they do not sell new ring gear seperate. I asked how much and was given a price of $300-400. No thank you for buying early and making our swap parts sell.
GREAT. But he will sell me a new fw and discount it to $400.
HELLO Its modified for a Cm850.
So I gave up on them, the guy was speechless. Wwwwhat are ya gonna do he says.
I shouod have said I'm gonna tell everyone how fucking terrible your company is and figure it out myself.
But all I said was the last part.
End rant. Feels good first timer

The guy, why don't you get ahold of Javad? Ultimately your need to figure out how to get an oem ring gear on there.

what does it need? some metal, some welding, some machining, and some pressing? It can not be that bad. Around here you can get the almost impossible done for 80 bucks and if it is your buddy, something like a taco tuesday lunch, or at most a steak.
A shame about the flywheel not being any good off the bat when for another $200 of development all of them could have been right the first time.

I have no idea what you flywheel looks like, but most of them from 034 use a copy of the original ring gear. So an old 7a or something might work and be almost bullet proof.

Ya its ridiculous that I would be forced to pay. And on top of it given a range and not a set price
I messaged on Facebook. Then emailed. Then called. Unfortunatly I spoke to the same person the each time
Changing fw is not an option
I'll either use it this way as its probably more balanced missig two teeth on oposite sides then when i was using it only missing one tooth.
or find a way to weld a new tooth and machine or mahine for a different ring gear.

Hellll. Yaaaaa. I told 034 to go.fuck themselves and their price range 3-400.
Clutchmasters put new ring gear on for 80$. Done.
Shit ships tomorrow.
Cm for the win and Mike hood at ringer racing for taking care of it for me.
034 sucks. Felt so good to tell them to pound sand today.

Merry Christmas to me. New clutch solved and done will be here by end of week.
Now my turbo was smoking a little and spool is later then it was. Then it stopped spinning at idle, I think it's about to shit the bed.
This will become the 5th blown precision on my shelf as I'm not going to rebuild for the fourth time.
So I bought a used backup turbo from aaron. His 366xl. Should spool sooner and still make the same power I was. Pics next to 35r. For reference from Mr Cranium. Thanks again. I appreciate the help.
