I can't remember the exact size, somewhere around 6'' but they go in the rear panel underneath the window. There is a little storage compartment and right above it there are the holes

Sounds good to me, id appreciate it. Eventually though, ill just take the speaker stuff apart myself to see whats underneath. But if i can get a head start at how to dive in without hitting my head on the bottom of the pool, ill take it.

On that last pic, the bomb looks original and it obviously needs the feed line replaced (it's just a piece of flexible metric hose) as it is leaking and weeping Pentosin onto the body of the bomb.

As you can see, the door is pushed in below the beltline, but there is only a little tiny buckle on the frame rail (door sill) that a half hour with a mallet and a 2x4 could push down - then you can mount up the new door.

Forgot to mention that Steve had puchased a few parts from someone on this board. I forgot who. He got the front door panels and he also scored a Black door panel from a CQ in San Antonio at the pick and pull.

for the speakers i replaced the fronts and tossed a sub in the trunk and it made a huge difference, i eventually got some boston separates that bolted directly in and just had to tuck away the crossover and run wiring for it but took it out since it really made no difference.

So I just need front speakers really? Remember what size the speakers are? I am wondering of a small amp and a couple speakers would do the car well. Doesn't need anything crazy.

4inch, just get a decent head unit and you dont need an amp for speakers that small, if the woffers in the back are blown just disconnect them and run the tweeters, you do need a sub tho
