his screen name is a_CQ, he's parting his car out right now actually. I bought his old hubs.
you can get b5 a4 quattro rear hubs and brakes, those swap over directly for rear 5 lugs for the fronts you can get a urs4/6 hub and get them machined so that they can work for the fronts, and then use porsche big red brakes up front with rs2 caliper carriers, or you can get the apikol ones.
search on here for brake set ups. there's a ton of options for the coupe.
Or you can go the expensive route and go over to the s2forums (UK), and snatch some s2 coupe hubs, they run about 6-800$ it seems in good condition.
that is 5x112, it's one of the ways to convert to it using other cars (A4 and URS4/6) hubs and brakes.
S4 hubs won't work without modifications, or at least i've never seen anyone able to do it. I think you can upgrade the rear brakes using b7s4 rotors and some other random caliper carriers and calipers. not positive though, i unfortunately don't have the knowledge base for that.
total mileage on car now is 178k, i've put 1.5k on it! new empi axles were installed in the front along with flange seals and new gear oil. Man does the car sound more quiet now, i used to have a strange gurgle before when i pressed the clutch in, at first we thought it was the throw out bearing but the sound is completely gone now. and no more clicking from the passenger side axle.
my buddy painted the reiger spoiler, but it had some drips so i wasn't happy about it and told him to redo it. He apologized and said he'd get it done asap.
he did however finished repairing the rs2 style s2 bumper, that'll be going on tomorrow along with the rs2 plate i hope. should look lovely. too bad the paints aren't going to match for the time being, nice n glossy new paint vs old n pitted satin looking paint.
I popped the brullen on there today with the help of my mentor Dan (he did most of the work because i'm a nitwit) Exhaust has a very deep sound, although lil raspy. It's better then the stebro that we put on my last coupe, i think another resonator up closer to the dp will help
i need to add resonators on my exhaust... BUT, the raspy noise is a common thing from what i was told. My car makes a Blatty blah blah blah, Blattttttttttttttttt , blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhvoooooooooooooooommmmmmmmMMMMMMMMM sound when i am driving.
Video of brullen exhaust, it was cold out hence the smoke show. Don't worry I had it up to temp before doing this.
Also installed the rs2 tub and rs2 styled S2 bumper
Now it's the only black rs2 styled (rear) coupe in the us. There's a pearl white, a nagaro, and possibly a red one. Soon I'll have the reiger wing on properly.
Yeah, line it up, drill from top down, then drill from bottom a little ways to hide bolts. I have to get some new rubber months for it and it still needs to be repainted.
And yeah, the round lights will look nice, especially hen my friend mike makes me a light bar and I put some off road lights on.
Still gotta do the mudflaps before winter

here's a couple pictures of how i did the rs2 plate. The bumper is just an s2 bumper with an rs2 cutout fiberglassed in.
all disassembled
drilled some holes in my nice freshly painted bumper to mount the license plate
plate mounted, had to slot from the stock plate mounts downwards an inch and a half ish. then i had to space out the bottom so that it would fit flush. i used some rubber stoppers and drilled a hole down the center of it and mounted so that it butted against the tabs on the back of the plate. Then i screwed some bolts in the top to space it out at the top so it didn't wiggle.
downward view, it's solid, and sealed, so i'm happy with it that it lines up nicely. Cover works fine overop.
i still have to buff the rest of the tail lights so they match better, it's like 22 year old tail lights vs a brand new light lol.
completely transforms the back of the car in my opinion. i love it. gaps aren't terrible when it's all lined up

That looks amazing! There is a pic on vortex of a silver sedan with this setup. I really like how it looks. I might have to look into this for my 80.
After I get the car back on the road that is :(

Well with any luck I will have a set of Euro tails for it soon. YAY. trying to keep away from any aftermarket parts, but might be hard to do for the bumpers.

i'm in the process of deciding to buy the 4x108-5x112 adapters, buying some wheels for the winter, or spending the extra money to get my caliper carriers machined and refinished so that i can mount the porsche brakes and deal with the new brake lines.
EDIT: just got off the phone with the guy from adaptec. Very cool guy, he's going to machine the adapters for me. Wheel and hub centric, m14x1.5 studs.
can anyone confirm that the stock studs going into the hubs are? i thought they were m12...
