Glad to hear it wasn't a mess. That's one I'd just count my blessings and move on from lol. Could have been worse.

Yep, could have been a lot worse. I was expecting actual damage, not just a small mark on the bumper.

Slowly but surely I have been collecting the parts to upgrade my MS2 to MS3X. I now have all the parts to upgrade the ECU itself and redo all the wiring!
MS3 ECU, MS3X daughter board, and MS3X larger case

New MS harness, MS3X harness, knock modual, real time modual, and USB tuning cable.

I still need to get the LS coils, plug wires, knock sensors, and hall sensor for trigger wheel.
It will be nice to upgrade and have sequential injection and coil per plug ignition. Should make tuning easier and more solid with the 60-2 trigger wheel too.

I thought so too! I was very happy to see the MS harness was in the box. When I ordered it, it came up on back order.
I think I got everything you said to. Should make for a nice setup. Won't be too long before the ECU is on its way back to you haha.

Kewl!
I'm jealous of those harnesses! The wiring in my car is pretty good, but the amount of time it took to make it that way is obscene.
Let me know if all the pin locations in the MS (not the MS3X) harness are populated. If the "spare" pins don't have wires, you may want to buy a couple of these:
http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/ms-harness-extra-wire-kit-p-463.html to make connections for the knock sensors.

Well for my birthday I decided to install my polk component speakers. Turned out pretty well, but the foam ring for the OEM speakers were sitting on the flex ring. I snagged some thick insulator foam from work and installed that to keep the rear deck from drooping. Came out pretty well and the speakers do not move.
While tuning the system in, I noticed the sound wasn't as clear as I ft it should be. So, I decided to install the new unit I had for sale. The sound quality is amazingly better! Now I can do what everyone kept telling me to do, and turn up the music to drown out the different noises the car makes...

Today I decided to finally tackle the failing wiring in the trunk. As expected, the wiring was all broken and bad where the harness flexes.

So I cut out about 2" in either direction and replaced the wiring with new wire where it flexes. Now my trunk light and rear fog light both work as it should. I hadn't had a problem with the reverse lights yet, but I checked them anyways. All is working as it should again!
Woohoo for small victories!

New head unit doesn't look nearly as bad as I had feared. Buttons match perfectly, but the white face kind of sucks. Oh well, good enough.

I got called into work on Sat. and sense it had finally stopped raining, I decided to drive the bandit. Everything went smoothly on the way to work. Got done an hour and a half later, went to leave, and it wouldn't start. Everything seemed normal, cranked smoothly and somewhat quickly. I finally turned off the stereo, and noticed the damn fuel pump wasn't turning on. I smacked it a few times and still nothing. Finally threw in the towel, called the wife to get me, and called the boss to let him know why my car would still be in the parking lot. Turn the key to "on" so I can move the steering wheel and push it into a spot, and the pump fire! Called the wife back and said I was going to see what happens.
I get past the exit before mine in the highway, and lose all power from the engine. Look over at my wideband, and sure enough, flat lined. Get on the shoulder and hang out for a while. I smacked the pump a couple times, wait a while more(the whole time turning the key on and off) and suddenly the pump fires up again, this time I can here the pump oscillating. I rip back onto the highway, and finally make it home.
Jeez, all that for 1.5hrs of DT! So needless to say, I need a new pump. I snagged one of the 044 that Zerb was selling. Should have it soon. I think I'll just have the car towed to George's place and start the MS3X upgrade while I'm at it.

Got the pump fom Zerb on Sat. It has some earls AN adaptor fittings on it which I won't be using.

Can anyone tell me definitively that the fittings from the B3 fuel pump fit the 044? If not, I'm going to have to find some that will work.
I think I only have to get a set of LS coils and a set of wires to finish off my setup. I'm thinking I may ship my MS off to Elaw soon to have him do the MS3X upgrade. This way he has all the time in the world to do it while I have the car towed to George's place and do the other needed work.

I got my replacement mount insert from Jared. My fault, I didn't put any heat shielding on the PS mount.

That man is a trip!

Hahaha
I think Jared finally figured a way around the forum's censorship aimed at curbing his 20v trolling.

Looks like it! He knew I would post a pic of it.

hopefully soon I hear from him about the 20v manifold flange so I can get my header made. I would love to have the new turbo setup in an running well for Carlisle next year. Hmmm... I wonder if Jared still pans to come to that...

Well, hopefully Jared gets the flanges made here soon so Tim can fab my manifold. Then I'll have the HY35 on as well! Should be fun.
I'm still wondering if the great Taco will bless us with his presence in 2016... He mentioned to me that he wanted to!

Wrong weekend for that. Chrysler nationals are a few weeks later.
