I'm still going to put the plate on, go to the courthouse, and see if they'll dismiss it because I fixed it...LOL. If not, I'll happily pay the fine and move on lol.
Believe it or not, this was the first "real" ticket I've gotten in the truck. I've had it twice as long, done 10x the crazy stuff, done some REALLY crazy things.
The audi? Two speeding tickets when NOT screwing around. Both of which were BS. So, I have a feeling I am going to be SUPER careful now when driving it

OMFG. Why is the driver side strut such a PITA!? Im about to throw a hammer threw the windshield because the balljoint and strut will not line up. I loosened the balljoint and connected it to the strut but now I need to figure out how to push it back into the control arm. Arrrg

Well, after spending 3 hours on a god forsaken strut, Im not 100% about being able to drive this tomorrow night. I still gotta get the brake mounted up, go over all suspension again, mount the 4 wheels, put the intercooler back together, mount it, all on top of my trig homework I need to get done. Doesnt help that my friend that was supposed to help tonight completely bailed and gave me the run-a-round

You mean this wasnt FUN??

Ive enjoyed seeing your progress and this project in general. With all the other crazy swaps its cool to see people still doing the normal CIS 20vt swaps. I think mine only left me stranded once (the clutch deal doesnt count since I was home).

Well I'm not saying I didn't have fun with it. There were just SEVERAL moments where I wish I wasn't car savvy. Did I learn alot? More than I EVER could have imagined. I'm just trying not to repeat any "axe" moments

I can't express the irritation that HVAC box caused me. The strut went well above that level last night, but I manged to restrain myself.

Cars can be such a lesson in patience. Having moments like that will make any future moment seem like its nothing at all. What tires did you get, and what wheels are they going on?

Will be driving tomorrow night for sure. Got all 4 brakes bled, all steering squared away for the shop, the wheels and tires mounted up, and mocked up the intercooler again with the new mounts. All thats left to drive it is to hook up the driveline and secure the intercooler + tighten and go over the suspension again
