For sure. Actually I was hoping while im up there i'd swing by to check out the CQ and maybe get a little photo shoot with our cars. That is if time, weather, and the fact that there may be nothing left of your CQ, permits

Sorry guys, I dont get to start working on it till about november 19th. Car and exhaust materials are in oregon and i'm still in cali. I fly up for vacation on november 18th, then the fun can begin. Hopefully it will only take a day or two to get it done, then it can serve as my DD for the rest of my vacation. Not sure when it will come back to cali, I fly home after thanksgiving but the car will get trailered down when the weather is good on the mountain passes of I5 from oregon to cali.

For sure. Electronic cutouts were something that came up in the discussion for the original exhaust but didnt happen and the exhaust took a 180 from what i had originally wanted. But now that its going to be a single stainless exhaust so only one cutout is required to its only half the price now...only 1 cutout needed. I was looking at them and had thought about just buying the cutout pipe with the block off plate only but then decided why not just get the whole package with the motor and save on shipping. I also found out that summit racing sells all the QTP products cheaper than just about anyone else...even amazon and ebay.

Started on the new exhaust a a couple nights ago. About to go back out to Derracudas shop and hopefully get it finished tonight. Did something creative to solve the tight clearance issue with running a 3" exhaust in the stock location between the floor and rear subframe. I'll let the pics speak for themselves.
The old...
The new...
It was the only paint on hand...

Nice. Done similar treatments in the past, if there isn't room, make it...
