Chris, took me a while to realize what you were asking when you asked about where the brake lines went.

Its easy... front MC ports go to rear brakes, rear ports go to front brakes. If you have an unused port simply install a bleeder or plug in it.

Was nice putting a face to the name.

Why is that?
I'm running 993TT calipers in front and Boxster S in the rear, with a stock CQ MC, and it works great.
Or is the t44 MC the same as the CQ's?

Vac assist installed (Carlisle kicked me in the pants to get working on this again :)). Now I just need to bleed brakes and clutch and then try it out! Thanks to all who helped in this process especially Corey and Keith.

Assuming all goes smoothly with the above, I just need to get the downpipe-to-exhaust and ic piping plumbed and I can register this beast and drive it again! I need to figure out the ps pump soon as well, but I can drive it without that while I figure it out :)

Same size as coupe. 25.40. B3 and B4 are smaller.

Now I guess I can register it and have someone fab the exhaust-to-dp and ic piping. I'm kinda amazed that it is this close to driving again :) There must me something I'm leaving out lol

Good news, I am moving forward with fabrication soon. I am ordering a bunch of ic piping (unfortunately lots of bends, but whatever... its 3") and I'm figuring out my exhaust setup as well. I need to figure out where to order some bends, flex bellows, and transitions. Burns seems to have the nicest transitions, I think I have a good source for 90's, and now I just need to get the rest of the details in order.

I think I'm going to have it 4" downpipe (ends right at the trans), then 4" bend which will bring it to roughly horizontal with the ground. Then a 4-3" transition, (maybe a few 3" 90s or a 180 just in case) a 3" flex bellows, and 3" vband after a little straight section (my current 3" exhaust starts just after the trans). I also need an 02 bung.

Eventually I'd like to have a 4" dump before the transition, but this is just to get the car back on the road in a civilized manner.

IC piping will run over the valve cover just like it did in my last setup and the stock setup.

In other good news, I just received a video of my european youtube buddy's car with the same turbo as mine (my hx52 will be swapped to a pro52, they are the same in all dimensions)... just over 670 whp on 2.1 bar.

Hargett doesn't make them anymore (just talked to the owner). So, now for new clamps.

Those are tasty looking clamps.

Yep, the vanjen's are sweet, or really any other wiggins-style clamp. That is, if you feel like spending $75+ on each clamp.

:)

hey quick offtopic question(s) for ya

my hx40 runs 2.5" vband compressor outlet, my treadstone ic is 3" in/out, and an 80mm tb, so my plan was to 3" ic to tb and taper down to tb right before butterfly, but on the pre-ic side does it make more sense to transition to 3" right at turbo compressoroutlet or go to 3" right at ic inlet?

and where does 2.5" boost piping start to run out of flow
