Do tell more! I am sure she needs a bar guide....and if need be, I could keep her longer than just a weekend, but do tell! :-D

Ok that didnt happen!! LOL 8)

Ok gents.. .I think we have a solution.. I should have taken more pictures, but it is pretty much like this... For som reason, Specs 3+ disk has a wider hub, and it bottoms out on the splines of the imput shaft.. It was about a sixteenth too wide.. So we milled off that much on the hub, put it back together, and magically it is now spinning freely with a fingers touch through the tranny peep hole.. I think It will be running smoothly tomarrow!! sucks that i had to pull the tranny 2 days ago and didnt catch it... but it sucks measuring things under the car, and it is hard to get to.. The motor pull is a much better way to go.. Even when I start blowing up trannies, I think I will pull the motor to get them out..

I got the motor out tonight from a running car with fluids in 1 hour and 50 minutes.. which is a new person best for me.. I had a pizza break too.. Oh yeah.. So I think she is in for good now..

Well Its late, and Darin already harrasses me for staying up late!!!

cool.... This thing rips on 15psi!! I cant wait for another 200 miles or so, and then I am going to put the rev limiter to 8000 and up the boost to around 22.. It is going to be a riot..

The clutch is doing great now!! The 3+ is an awesome street clutch! Love it.

I did almost get stranded tonight.. I developed a boost leak though, that caused my motor to rev and bounce off the limiter if the motor was on.. Let see if anybody can pick it up..

Image

yep.. Ill stay hush till the eagle eye spots the problem...

Ccool, thanks everybody for the help on the stupid Tranny clutch problem!!! You guys are troopers..

Ding Ding Ding!!!!! we have a winner!!!! the TIG welder has been fired up and it is good as new!!!! 175 AMP mega penatration this time round!! LOL

Yeah, It stumped me too for about 15 minutes. I couldnt figure out why the motor was reving so fast when I started up.. Initially I thought the THrottlebody was stuck, or maybe the plate got loose.. duct tape got me home, and she is beefy now!!

Good eye gents!!
