last night was a little slow, but meh, some things are just time consuming, like installing these...

started out by working my way up through the drill sizes to the right one for the tap required to thread the helicoils in.

then i put the head up in the drill press and used special tool that sits in the jaws of the drill press and holds the tap straight. i got busy and didn't get a chance to take a pic of that part.
then after a thorough cleaning, in with the helicoils

i like the sight of this...

i also got the oil filter housing on, and note the adapters from the 18x1.5mm threads to AN-10 fittings. i'll be working on some lines soon.

i have a second metal HG coming today from 034 HQ so that i can rob it's middle shim out and lower my compression a tad. the head was milled .007'' and i also figured dropping the compression a tad while i'm at it would be worth the extra $$ and time
today i'll be getting the head put back together and hopefully have my box full of parts needing to be cleaned in a hot parts cleaner back and i might... just might, be able to sink the engine in tonight 8)
