Thanks!

Actually, that's exactly what I plan to do in the near future. I am going to come up with a solution for mounting my Galaxy Note 4 in my dash somewhere for VEMS Display. I don't really have anything moving on that yet, but I have done a bit of planning.

Just let me know if you want help with your idea.

Nice work man! I need to come up with a CLEAN period looking display for live data. I've really been struggling with the idea of putting an actual Android based screen somewhere on the dash. BTW, what exactly is the hacker display? I haven't had time to really keep up with new happenings in the scene. Now if this is old info, I'll totally feel like a tard. LOL

EDIT.

Just did a little bit of reading. You know what would be badass on the 4k, is utilize the trip computer window in the cluster to install the hacker display. I think I might have to try this. Chris, I read that it needs some kind of lexan cover or foil, what are you using?

Well, the hacker display has been around for quite a while Iol. It's only for AFR or lambda though. It seems to have its own logic, but I haven't tested that quite yet. The point being, it may be able take any linear analog input for an afr display, but for right now the intention is to use the display with zeitronix's own wideband controller.

The display does need some kind of cover, its just for looks and legibility though. It will still work whether you have a "screen" over it or not. I'm just using a piece of tinted lamin-x. It works well and is nice and thick with a glossy look to it. It just sticks to the display and then you can trim it easily. I can write a DIY up sometime if you want. I'd be happy to make you a bezel for it too.
