1000rpm is extremely over the top. Jims 2.3L would spool almost identical to my 2.6L with the same turbo/manifolds. My 2.6L would spool around 500rpm sooner than a 2.2L for reference. So It gives a nice 500rpm bonus of turbo efficiency that would otherwise not exist. Nice upgrade

Even better for a daily driver. :)

So using that comparison... My 2.5 with quick spool valve and the EFR turbo, I should be able to spool faster than your 2.6... :D

Yes. A short rod ratio wil help spool the turbo as well, which a short deck 92.8mm motor does vs a 159 long rod tall deck. If I had to guess, I'd say this big 63mm turbo will have 30psi by 4000-4100

Sounds fast and fun enough. Now get off the computer and build a car!

I would think around there. Dad's 64mm was exactly that, 4000-4100rpm, 92.8 2.5l stroker with qsv

Now I'm stoked to see 07k difference :D

The dyno will tell... I know there is too many variables, so impatiently waiting

Holy fox man. Wow. So what are you doing for crank case pressure relief?

That's funny you mentioned it. I asked hank the same thing yesterday

And yes. That water manifold won't work with the Wagner and is not being used. Using an RS2 so my polished one will be for sale.

Using an RS2 intake? So you'll keep the conventional routing of the intake behind the head? Was curious to see how the Wagner would interact with the radiator.

Keeping the Wagner intake. Moving the radiator and a.c. condensor just behind the throttle body, using a RS2 water manifold

I don't have the ABS in the way, the bomb, and I did a vacuum booster conversion so there is more room now. A picture can describe it better. This will give you an idea of how it will be but just with the old radiator. I like not having to route the intake behind the motor. I figured the farther it stays in the front of the bay, the cooler and the shorter the route, the better.

Got this for extra insurance while stuck in stop in go traffic with the A.C. running on a hot Texas day. Supposedly it looks better in the picture than in person. Oh well, as long as it does it's job. Zero3motorsport said they quit making them several years ago and I happened to get the last one that was forgotten in their warehouse.

Definitely took mine off this past fall and have it laying in the basement along with all the mounting hardware that you could've had....

Thanks for the offer. I thought about using a used one for about a week or so but after running into a radiator problem with one of my other cars, I decided new is the way to go. I have been trying to hold strong on not taking any shortcuts or using used parts. I don't want any issues popping up. I have a V8 quattro that has a good looking radiator but has about 10 holes in it. It appears that the aluminum oxidized and turned to mush over time. Some spots are really soft and some are brittle. Most of these factory aux radiators are probably close to twenty years old now.

I completely understand. I love the look and feel of fresh new parts. :D

I love all the polishing work done on this car, looks incredible.

Thanks. The plan is to get it on the dyno next week. Then work work in the following month to make any changes, additions, and fine tuning to make it 100% and make it produce some real power. I am "hoping" for 750 to the wheels after everything is said and done.
