I've gotten a few things from Matt over the past year or two. A little pricey on some parts, but not bad on others, considering the rarity of some things.

Make a pitstop in Chicago. Our first event is May 5-7. Sing yourself up and you can drive the Coupe. No locking diffs, though. Or just come out to hang out and go for rides.

Heads up that the 300v onboard is live ready to kill the unaware. . It is a rule. This competition has a 200 page rule book that comes with the entry fee.

How fast does the rule book let you compete at? Sub 500lbs and 125hp with +400ft/lbs sounds like pretty fast depending on gearing. I'm sure the competition isn't out to kill college students and is pretty well regulated.....is all the fun regulated out?

The competition is college students! There is or was a German team that was funded by VW/Audi or some such thing. They win a lot lol. My school also does quite well each year (as we do with most things we compete in ), at least in the formula SAE part. I wish I had the time to be involved with it during school :/

Chris, by competition I meant the event. What I was saying is that the organizer's of the event or competition will have put enough rules in the 200 page rule book to safeguard, somewhat, those competitors......the students. In this sue happy society we live in you would have to cover yourself somewhat I would think.
