Reset your base timing in Base Setup>Primary Trigger Settings> TCD after the trigger using a timing light and the function Tools>Ignition Lock to lock to advance to ~.5 (it will not lock at 0ยบ).

So lock timing at idle to .5 btdc and use a timing light to make sure its flashing right befor tdc, if it to adv. i add to the 58 setting under tdc after trigger and vise versa if its too retarded....correct? Also i am running a stock aan blancer so the tdc mark is not at true tdc, is their another way?

So i just locked the ign. timing to 13 deg. and using the mark on the flywheel and adjusting my timing light to 13 deg. It seems with the original 58 deg after the trigger setting was almost lined up with the bottom of the window in the trans. Did I do this procedure correctly?

Ah, you have a modern timing light lol From what I understand that sounds correct. I have a antique light which is not adjustable lol

I really like the new, from 1.2.9, boost PID options so I'm going to try and stick it out. My MAT seems to be acting up as well, not sure what setting could have changed there. Still trying to figure out what settings to use for the wideband.
:EDIT: What should Analog inputs look like the new version has a function drop down (Old left & New Right):

VEMS Support forum says to use heater ri target of 180 and the standard wideband settings for everything else for v 1.2.x.

I had this issue too, bouncing revs when feathering the throttle. Tps sensor wouldn't read any changes yet throttle was slightly open, so it would cut the fuel when the rpms would exceed the threshold. Turns out the tps sensor resolution isn't all that great. Anyways, that was my issue.
In same boat for wideband, readings not working atm, not sure why, still haven't tried recal tho. I do have a narrowband connected also in aan harness maybe that doesn't help.
It was that easy this whole time? I always thought it was trigger related because it seemed my trigger logs went wacky when that happened. That makes the rev bounce go away as well as makes driving through town at 25 possible. Before it was not smooth at all. Not sure how to describe it. But it was like having an on off switch on the throttle, no resolution at all. And going anything under 35 mph was impossible.
Thanks Carl.

I started playing around with the newer firmware in VEMS Tune (not loaded on the ECU yet) and I can't even choose the correct ignition outputs. There's no option to choose stepper output push/pull. Am I missing something real simple here?

No prob, glad you got it working.
I got wideband working today with that new firmware, turns out the brand new sensor was no good.
Ignition timing nice and consistent at idle (not dancing around the tdc mark).
