Dont get too excited, I dont want to see anymore parts removed by an axe. LOL.
Does your intercooler say "NEUSPEED" on it? I just went back and actually read the words under the pictures. I guess its made by neuspeed.

Yeah, I'll check tonight on the Intercooler when I get home. That HVAC box had it coming. It made me angry

I'm dropping the rear subframe this weekend and I'm going to fab up the sway bar next week. My FWD sway bar is getting mounted in the front and I'm relocating the front quattro sway bar to the rear.

Sounds like a familiar equation! Projects looking good!

Yep! I have a set of front A-arms with the sway bar mounts that I'm going to try and mount the bar into. That'll make the center mounts so much easier to fab up. I just hope the bar will clear what I'm going to do

Look up Ben's thread (extreme90path) and do what he did for the rear sway bar. I'm sure it's cheaper than the blau stuff and looks good. EDIT : Dont throw out the jt oil pan, you need it for the swap unless you have a 7A oil pan.

Yep already knew that about the oil pan 40v. So I did a mock installation today with the sway bar and it litterally slides right into place with the front a-arms in place of the original rears. Prolly going to fab up the cent mounts tomorrow or Mondy

Awesome, and great progress so far. You work pretty fast. I badly want to hear this thing ripping around. That should be by the end of june, right? LOL. I've said it before and I'll say it again...I love 20vt 4kq's. Your is even the right color
Oh, dont forget that now is your chance to de-gunkify the engine bay. You alrady did good by not cutting the front support out, now go another extra mile and make that bay shine :-)

awesome project. I am helping a buddy of mine do a 20vt in his B3, so I am subscribed because I am sure some of my questions will be answered here.

I've found insufficient information on the wiring, so I'm going to be doing a full documentation on the wiring to help others doing the swap. I'll try to draw up some good wiring diagrams too

What color should I paint the engine???!!?
I'm thinking either red or black. The engine bay is red also. Add in the shiny aluminum head, a white valve cover, white timing cover, and the polished urq igloo and other intake stuff.
Thoughts?

Paint that engine semi-gloss black. It will look really sharp!

Wait, so being told "It's been documented 1,000 times, search the forums" didn't make it magically appear??

I'm aiming for 100% documentation with my build too. Wiring is next on the list. It'll be cool to compare notes. As far as I know there isn't a
correct complete diagram out there, so respect for doing it.
Good luck! Don't fry anything.

Was strongly considering that too
