Hap, that is classic! Yes, WI can be a bit unreliable, but I think with the proper fail safes in place it is still very useful. Logs? lol.

No doubt WI is useful, I just prefer the NOS solution. With the purge function in use prior to a run, We could get the IAT to below ambient temp and maintain it at ambient through a run at WOT. At the track the purge can be used during staging to eliminate the radiant heat effect until you were out on the track when the airflow and the WOT shot of NOS kept things cool by themselves. the Monster has a 3 position switch for off, purge and armed when the WOT swich kicks in. Did I mention that a little spillover of the NOS just might find its way into the intake system? I don't have any actual temperature logs just Brendan's observations. Does anybody know if that's something that can be logged on a IIc?

IAT? For sure. Easy in the logger. It will show it wherever you have your intake temp sensor, but that is the point. Love to see some logs.

I've got a call into Brendan. I'll see what I can come up with. The otherfactor that I failed to talk about is the massive size of my Garrett cored FMIC. It measures 10.5x4x24 and is a huge heat sink. It makes it ideal for the FMIC spray bar.

Space is a premium in an URQ! PS pump literally is 1/4" off the intercooler. I wish I could get the kind of room afforded in a US bumpered urS

I am thinking about getting rid of the current street wheels and getting another set of RPF01's for the street like in the pick on the first page in this thread.

They look good and are super light. I would like to find a nice 5 or 6 spoke, under 20 lbs for a 17x9 or 9.5 and under $300. Rota's are too heavy. 5x112 or 5x114.3 works for me. Anyone have suggestions?

18" at smallest, but light (17-18lb for an 18x9.5) and offsets are cut to order. I don't know how much luck you're going to have finding new, wide 5x112 wheels that aren't custom 3-piece ones designed for the stance crowd.

Rpf1's have my vote. I made a pretty kickass adapter that makes drilling 5x112 hubs to 5x114.3 a cinch. I think you should just go 114.3 on all yours wheels

not real light and i have suggested them before but pretty hard to beat for the price. i can throw one on a scale if you wish. voxx misano 17 x 9

There was a request for an IAT log and Brendan Rudak just sent it one over:

MAT--manifold air temp

CLT---coolant temp

The run peaked at 30 lbs and tapered to 25 lbs.

Notice how linear the temp is and how it falls during the pull.

Wheels - I always like to refer to what the factory had on their hot rods back in the day... your car is looking really good with the wide fenders...

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Being able to run 5x114.3 with my 12mm studs and PCD offset nuts really opens up the choices because you can use wheels for STI's and Evo's. There are quite a few great choices out there if you are willing to spend $400-$500 per wheel.

These WedsSport wheels are supposed to be fantastic. They are super light 17x9.5 is 16 lbs, supposed to be really strong and are around $450 per wheel.

SSR also has lots of great options at great prices for a forged wheel that are temping..

But at $230 per wheel and 17 lbs, the rpf1 is still in the lead. I put the 255/40-17 street tires on two of them and they look really good. Not to play with some black and white plastidip unless someone beats me to it with photoshop:)
