I am getting a 1.86a draw. If I disconnect the wire that goes from the power block to the fuse block, the draw goes away, except for like .05ma. Even with ALL the fuses and relays pulled, I STILL get a draw. I'm about to damn near cut the chassis harness in half and pull the damn thing through the firewall to see wtf is going on. Time to start cutting open harnesses....AGAIN

Start unplugging shit from the back of the fuse block. Also try a new (different) fuse block.

Nothing technical to add, just realized your username is about taco's and your car is about supermarket pizza's..... Suddenly it all makes sense.

Yes, I agree. If only more people would jump on to the HPR bandwagon, I might be able to afford that 89 Countach I've had my eyes on for quite a while now

Found the draw wire!! Ironically.....it was the last wire I unplugged from the damn fusebox! It's a black and red wire that goes....somewhere. Didnt have time to follow it but will try for more tomorrow

Lol that's always how it goes. I always end up thinking, man, it can't POSSIBLY be the very last one. And then it is.

Single black and red wire? Maybe the power wire for your central locking pump?

Correct. The wire actually goes to the central locking system. I followed the wire through the harness which ended up at the driver side door lock! Soon as I unplugged the harness....boom test light went out.
I did a lot of cleaning up the wiring today. Did quite a few modifications which should have been done when I did the swap. Shortened the main wire that goes to the fusebox, got rid of the wiring shroud on the chassis harness, added loom, yada yada, soldered up several connections, refreshed a lot of things. Got rid of ALL the bare wires that I still found in the harness from that little short I had last winter. Re-ran the power wire to the CSV and tidied everything up a bit.
Then I started getting the no current issue again where there is no power period. This has been a known issue with the battery ground I chose in the trunk (one of the bumper bolts). Occasionally the power will just quit working requiring me to reset and clean the ground. An absolute pain in the ass. So what did I do today? I ground the paint off a nice open area, welded a bolt to it, and connected the ground cable to it. Boom everything worked perfect and even the starter seemed to turn over faster.
Now for the bad news........when I was picking the battery up and putting it back in the trunk...BOOM SMACK right into the F*#^ING Driver Tailight!
But other than that the car is running again. Just gotta fix the exhaust leak and it should be back to normal.
