Yes, definitely. That was the first thing I mentioned on my initial post about the flow differences above.

I also believe that #5 runs hotter for other reasons like coolant temperature... If you follow the path, it's the furthest from the radiator and possibly heatsoaked in a way by the time it runs back there.
Engine bay temps might be worse too back there...
How about fuel temp? The rail is hot and it possibly heats up the fuel with #5 getting the short end of the stick...
I'll say this, the plugs and pistons on my last failure looked gradually worse from 1-5...

One more thing to consider is that the air going through the intake manifold has to slow down at the rear wall. This also increases pressure at the rear-most cylinders.

Now that I think of it, I've seen many per cylinder egt manifolds on cars but never any data that shows how much of a difference there is in temperature among all 5. The idea is that we could compensate for these variables in the tune...

Exactly. I will probably get an egt data acquisition package to do that on my revver.

Cant we all just get along! Anyway plan on going to coil overs over the winter and a new wheel setup. Was thinking RPF1's but leaning more towards something like this.

These wheels should be similar in weight to my RK's but i think they fit the car well.

That looks great, not that wheels even really matter with what you have under the hood

I think the wheels and stance is what draws people to it at first, then they look under the hood and go ohh..

Glad to see an update here.
I'm telling you man, get something finer than that 40 micron. Bosch themselves say particles 35 micron and larger WILL damage the injectors. They recommend a 5 micron filter. Ethanol is said to commonly have fines as small as 8 microns... With that information, I'd go with a 10 at the least. Bosch prefers 5 since that's what's in the injectors themselves and you don't want a clog there when you could stop it at the filter instead. Just sayin...
