For what it's worth, I ran with no idle valve for years. It never got Canada cold, but it would start just fine even at 0 C. I think you just need to do some cranking tuning. Don't forget that you can disable the injectors while cranking if you hold the throttle to the floor. That will help you figure out if you have a rich condition or not if it doesn't start the first time.

Thanks Chris. Why would it fire up perfect without the cam position sensor and therefore no secondary trigger? Surely that points to some secondary trigger setting not being right?

Last q Ben - you were using stock 200 fw with its pin and the g28 and g4 sensors? Along with the cam sensor? Or are you doing a 60-2 wheel on the front?

I am using the stock stuff (G28/4 sensors). I know lots of people like the 60-2 set up, but after watching people deal with some of it's problems, I decided to pass on it. (Not that having a pin fly off of the flywheel isn't problematic either) LOL

So apparently taking the plugs out and leaving them for the day makes the car start almost instantly...
I guess my cranking changes couldn't take effect because there was so much unburnt fuel in there. Whatever, I'm happy!

I think I need to add a bit more warm-up enrichment... car stumbles like crazy until fully warmed up. Took some logs, I'll get them up soon. I also had some miss at 3k before with f5dpor plugs but with the ngk brk7eix it's nice and smooth again.
Hoping to troubleshoot my non-working working n75 tonight as well. And put some 94 octane in!
Weeoo

Still more warm-up, but I only have one chance a day so it's a multi day process

Did some fuel tuning last night too, feels good. I figure I'm making close to 300hp on 10psi. Many people were impressed last night at the g2g. Tuning ve to 10psi didn't take very long lol, still got half the map to go

We have boost! Turned out to be a dead n75. Upon installation of the new n75, first floor it it and I had forgot I had my refdc value out of whack. Immediately blew the ignition fuse, so replaced the 15 amp with a 25.
Only making 14 psi for now but it's enough to notice a difference! I love this car. I feel like the world's biggest badass diving it around. Low and slow... most of the time

Had a semi-go with a ttrs last night. Not really anything but he was merging onto the highway and stepped on it, so so did we. Pretty close. He turned and yelled nice 4k, love it! Pretty awesome since I was never in front of him and he was a dealer employee and car.
Then on the way home an rx7 and a supra passed us but weren't interested in playing.

Sounds like all the 2door sports cars are out and about in your area...
And what's this 14psi business?...

I was on spring pressure before, 10psi. I had two friends in the car and couldn't tune/double check to see everything was safe so 14psi/200ish kpa was all I was comfortable pushing.

This is going to be my first and only rant on 034, and it's on a product and not anything to do with their company or employees etc.
Their spark plug wires/towers are garbage. I know this was already known by many people here but man. Number one and number five are broken/loose and I am currently limited to 14psi because number five goes crazy and stalls the car. And then causes it to run like shit on 4 cylinders until I stop and push it back together.
Thankfully I have a set of magnecors coming from Marc.

Yes, very well-known issue. I don't know why they carry those still. If you want to make a rant about the company, try returning them like I tried to.

Since I am not the original purchaser, the lifetime warranty goes out the window. Already tried.

To do list for Carlisle:
- Magnecor wires
- boooooost!
- swap out leaky oil pressure switch
- fix tach (randomly died last night?)
- try to put enough KM on it to change to synthetic (recommendations?)
- balance wheels
- CLEAN/detail
I think that's it. Nobody knows what this car is so no one wants to play. Saw two Vipers recently, one ignored me and one gave me the blow-by after I gave him a little BOV pshhaaa

lol I feel you pain. Same thing happens to me in the 200. At least that means less chance of getting arrested for racing

This flooding while cold thing is really pissing me off. Was 4 deg c this morning and the car flooded twice. I thought I had it sorted out but apparently not. It's just getting way too much fuel, plugs are literally soaked instantly, I don't fucking get it. Yet it fires up fine if it's like 15 out. It's absolutely a temperature fuel setting, I just don't know which one.
Fuck.

That's actually not true, I do know. But it's tiring.

So, you have zero prime pulse and this is still the case? My only other guess is that you may be firing all injectors vs individual during cranking (this is under the injector setting menu & not cranking). If not your cranking VE could just be way high.
I'll take a look at that file you posted later tonight.
