Rod journals are different between 20v and 20v. I would basically put 20v internals in a 20v block
Also lighter and less rotating mass

After reading what Im doing, I might as well rename this car to "Ghetto 20vt Swap" LOL

for some reason i was thinking 20vt main journals are a different size too, not positive on that.

scratch that, mains appear to be the same.

Yeah the mains are the same. I need to figure chamber CC of an AAN piston or head chamber to figure what what combo will work. The 9:1 3B pistons may be better suited. If final compression resulted in 10.0 - 10.5:1 I would be happy

So going through with all of the hybrid 20v pieces to build the ultimate 20v is basically out of spite? Will be watching

3b and AAN pistons are identical from what I have seen.

Don't the 20V pistons have valve reliefs?

Yes they do for the intake valves I believe.

But they won't line up on your 20v!

PKW had the mc block and pistons shaved 4mm for a ghetto 20vt. Maybe you could have the mc block decked 8 mm and run the AAN pistons. You probably would have to machine some new valve reliefs and maybe you could get some wrist pin bushings to fit the MC rods but with a 20mm bore???

Wow this car hates me. I got a good 20vt MM hose from a friend that I'm borrowing for diagnostic purposes (current hose has a hole) and as soon as I went to drive it, I heard an electical "pop" and everything died. I lost ALL power completely. Nothing would reset, nothing worked, EXCEPT, the AMP lights were on meaning they were getting the signal from the head unit....even though it was off???????
This would have been fine if I wasnt at the bottom of a hill with a dead phone. I had to push the car back up the hill with the dodge and back into the garage......oh fun shit.
I think my power distribution block took a shit or something because the battery has plenty of power and if I hook jumpers up to the block, everything will work again until I take the jumpers off the power block
The good news is I now have a medium-duty drill press LOL

Lol, you will have to text me what you did. I have had so many chances to go to jail in mine too. good thing I have to take it apart after BBQ and take all winter to fix it. now that its making big power, its way too hard to keep it in check. Im always being egged on for a race.
