Yes! That is exactly what I always try to get across. Bosch-based EV14 which are statically and dynamically matched is really the best you can ask for.

Bosch Motorsport EV14 are pretty much the best thing for automotive fueling since EFI with sequential injection came out.

Oh and I forgot to say, that is great to know about the Magnafuel pumps. I am very surprised at that.

Also that you're flushing good money down the drain if you don't take Chris up on his FID offer :hide:

Haha and noone has even bought any yet! Plenty of interest, but noone has ponied up :P

Yes, just your typical run of the mill EV14, no different than any other one on the market. Their 1300s are specially spec'd between them and Bosch apparently, but in my opinion it makes no difference as long as sets are matched well dynamically.

Interesting stuff. Well, at this exact moment I am taking a good look at the FIC 1100s, very tempting.

I'm not sure how much clearer I can make it... I can get you the EXACT SAME injector from the exact same source that FIC gets them from, but for significantly cheaper. ;)

Oh, and I forgot to say that the cost (from the source) of these injectors is going to go up significantly sometime after the first of the year. I'm not making money off of these, just helping a friend (owner of FID) branch out into other markets. The point is, I'm just lookin' out for you guys and trying to help you get awesome injectors for the best price!

Keep in mind that the term "EV14" is used very loosley as it apparently is just a style/type of injector... The Black OPS Injector from Five O motorsports is also an EV14 injector. But instead of starting off with a 550cc or 1000cc Bosch core like the ones mentioned above, Delphi provides Five O with blank cores for them to mod to the size of their choice... 1 Step process vs a 2 Step process... In short all the latest injectors from most injector manufacturers are EV14's, which is why when switching from EV14 on our cars we need "adapters" or "pigtails" to wire them into our older EV1 style system. Seems as though all these EV14 type injectors must meet certain standards as most have stainless steel bodies and optimized nozzles tailored to specific spray pattern. This is just what I've gathered from searching everywhere for specifics,...

WOW, I really had no idea that there are so many companies out there producing custom injectors like this, pretty awesome stuff IMO. What I am really looking forward to is to see how the aftermarket responds to all these new DI engines coming out.

Ok Doug, I will get some up tonight. :)

And Matt, sorry my thread has been DEAD lately. Life has been super busy and progress has been slow on Oceanic. All I need is a piston and HG now, then things can go back together.

Ok, finally, sneaking in an update. Life has been stupid busy. :drunk:

So a couple weekends ago I took some time to FINALLY clean up my A6 after it was gifted large amounts of front bumper damage. I actually have been shamelessly driving it around for a long time looking pretty jacked up. So, here is how it turned out. :D

Before:

The work:

My mom jumped in on the sanding work which was really nice. :)

Primer sealer action:

I also picked up a cheap deck lid spoiler and threw it on

SO that's it for about now. OH! Also, I finally have all my parts to get oceanic running again. I just need some time now.

damn that bumper came out nice. I see you tried jumping it. Only jump the 4k like me. At least the worst that happens is my rear bumper flies off

And then you have kids, and goodbye Audi time! When I've wanted to get things done I had to get up at 5am to hit the shop before work. After a week you get used to it :P
