Some cosmetic damage to oil pump but nothing major. No leakage or damage to the seal

I would still replace the seal. Just for peace of mind.

The first thing that comes to mind when I see that is crank bolt not tight enough. There should not be any shear on that keyway whatsoever when properly torqued.

That and I keep thinking you will never get a chance to buy my turbo. Every time this happens I see it getting further and further away from happening if at all.

This is pretty good insurance too. I put one of these on the last time I had mine apart. Yours looks pretty hammered.

He could also et it through marc, or hank, or genuineaudiparts instead of that blasphemous website over dere. He'd order it, then wait two weeks to call them to ask where the eff it is onlt to get a less than believable excuse...just sayin. Thats always my experience.

Um... did he upgrade to the super torque belt?

Trust me, I would love to convert to super-torque. However that requires a new water pump, cog, belt, and cam pulley. Too much money right now. Perhaps over summer when I gots monies

Getting pretty fed up with 034. 2 phone messages and an email over 3 days and STILL no reply. They need to warranty my passenger motor mount. Not even 3 months of driving on it and it popped out even though I have a snub and everything. *SIGH*

And this is why we moved here. The customer service at 034 is the worst I have EVER had to endure. To me, after having nothing but disappointment and frustration, 034 is the last resort of last resorts. And if a 034 representative reads this...take it as a hint! Its not a bash, its the truth.

Yeah I know...I just don't feel it should take a friggen rant to get a response from a COMPANY of all possibilities.
ANYWAYS,
I figured I would update on the car. Started really cleaning up the engine harness with new heat shrink, connectors, re-routing of wires, etc etc while the head is off. Going to install the after-run fan temp sensor. Found it so figures I'll install it. I really dont want more electrical problems until I go VEMS so figured I'll put a little time into the wiring. I'm going to start wiring up the rally lights while doing the wiring. I think I am going to put the switch box in the little cubby under the dash on the driver side. I think I'm also going to wire up a manual ground switch for the CSV in conjunction with the ECM. I figure it'll be good for more power on WOT. I'm thinking of putting a push switch under the throttle pedal to activate it.
I'm trying to install the bracket that holds the 3 3-pin Bosch connectors for the knock sensor and flywheel sensors. No idea where I'm goin to stick this bulky thing. I kinda feel like welding it on to the firewall when I get it back up and running. Would be way easier and cleaner over self tapping bolts.

Wow my grammar sucks when I'm tired. So much repetition. Screw me right?
On a side note, I am NOT going to be using 35mm exhaust valves at this time. Going to be way too much money for valves, seats, and machine work at this point in time. I have a spare head that I am going to strip, port, and throw the techtonic big valve kit in. I figure that will be a perfect combination for Dave's Volvo K24 and Vems. 350 hp here I come lol

Screw 034. I'm beyond fed up with them. It's taken too damn long to get my order placed and the warranty motor mount. I have a strong feeling I won't be ordering my intended parts from them this Summer. I think once I'm out of school with a reasonable amount of physics and engineering classes in me, I'll start designing parts for these things in my spare time. Maybe Hank can make them and sell them lol

Never said it was all good. I wrote this before they got in touch with me FINALLY.
And then at the end... I basically got told...oh btw were out of stock on the other parts you need.
