Dang. Melikey. And also weird, I was thinking this morning how I was going to take my car to my friend and body guy to have him roll my fenders out. Did you roll yours or just cut them?

And what are your tire widths? Crazy. They must be like 225? And 17"?

IIRC I am on 205 45/R17. I want to go lots wider. After the flares go on I will see about running a spacer and throwing on some better meats.

I've been wanting to do those flares for a while now. My 205/60/15s rub in the rear. I think the flares would go well with the rally style

I think they look good with the VW and rally Audis but I'm not sure if they'll match up to your style of car

I was just gonna try and steal some flares from a jetta or make my own out of some of the scrap metal from work

Ya, I'm letting the idea marinate for a bit before I actually pull the trigger. Today I saw this car over on FB, apparently it was at Wuste. This one has exactly what I want in terms of the style of flare.

I'm thinking I'm just going to bag the bolt on ones and just go for that look that red one has. After this next set up and up and running reliably, I think that's the next stage of Oceanic's build and me thinks it's going to be sexy like. :P

PS: If ANYONE knows who owns that car, point him/her in my direction! I want to know more about it!

Why thank you Darin! :D

EDIT: I'm going to be calling the local bone yard tomorrow. Maybe they have some good front fenders out there for me. :)

Saw the car in person at Wuste, and even hovered for a while hoping he would appear and tell me more about her. Nicely done flare job. Very clean, even when I put some fingers under the flares to check for ugliness.
