Yup that sounded like a pretty bad leak
sounded like the mic on the camcorder going balistic more than anything. I'm going to pressure test it hopefully tonight.

Hi Bill, I cant hotlink to waytek's catalog but they are under fuse products->ATO/ATC Fuse Holders, about 3'rd page of results in. 034 also sells them.

"gang" just refers to the number of circuits, eg 6 gang = 6 slots for fuses, etc.

pressure tested the intake today, big arse leak at the back of the motor. I have an o-ring that is supposed to seal between the intake pipe and the manifold but the seal isn't there anymore
I can't quite fathom how the seal came out but it appears my motor ate it. oh well, only rubber, probably burned up pretty quick!

yes, the thing definitely works as advertised, no question there.
My only problem with it currently is that get a lot of oil splashback up the drain line so I need to install a flap valve or one way valve to make sure the oil doesn't come back up the drain. Other than that the filtration portion of the unit works awesome

Your motor has a healthy appetite. That's a good sign.
got the o-rings in today, saw 22psi as I forgot I had dialed the hell out of the boost controllers on the dyno. Leak fixed
I actually figured out why the o-ring came out. One of the two nuts holding the bracket to the back of the motor came out which allowed the rear intake pipe to expand and go crooked under boost, probably opening up a significant airgap as pressure increased. Makes total sense now

Sweet, nice to have an explanation as that really was a wierd one!
Now before you dial back from 22psi....lets go for a spin

H
p.s. when are you ehading back to the dyno then? LMK and make it a sensible time so I can tag along and learn something about my future
